The hotel is about 30 - 45 minutes drive from downtown Chicago and 20 minutes drive from O Hare airport. The room is spacious. A hotel with nice view and good for someone looking for a quiet & relaxing getaway.

The hotel we stayed in this time was quite good, surrounded by oak trees, it felt like sleeping in the forest. A 40-year-old hotel can still maintain its quality. China still needs to learn from the United States and Japan. The disadvantage is that it is not actually in Chicago. You need to buy a day pass to take 322/pink or 381/blue to the city. The hotel provides free shuttle to the 22nd Street bus station, and it takes another 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the city. It is a bit far away from ORD Airport, but the taxi is not cheap, about $45.

It's amazing. It's in a golf course and forest park. The environment is great and noble. The hotel has a 150-year-old tree and is by a lake.

Check-in was poor. Arrived and we were told that the room wouldn’t be ready for another hour and that I’d get an email. 15 minutes later the email arrived. Headed back to the hotel, where we were given a room key and told “Second Floor”. No description of the facilities, food & drink, WiFi, pool, anything. We had to go exploring for ourselves to find out anything. As we were tired after a long day of travel, we finally worked out how to order room service and made an order. Instead of the food coming on a plate and a tray, it was delivered to the door from the kitchen downstairs in a takeaway box and plastic carrier bag. The food itself was average at best. The room was fine. Bed was firm and pillows soft. Shower had good power. Toilet paper was single-ply and cheap. Not good enough. Overall the place was fine, could do with a little modernising and a lick of paint here and there, but generally fine. Could have been much more.

A great place for relaxing, beautiful scenery with the lake, trees, and nice walking paths. I came here with my wife and she took advantage of the Spa and Gym / Pool. Definitely looking to come back!

The hotel has beautiful grounds with ponds and walking trails. The employees were super friendly. My one complaint would be the pool area. Both the pool and the hot tub are HUGE. There were A LOT of children there. I’m a parent, so I have nothing against children, but they should be using the hot tub as a kiddie pool. Our first night there, the gigantic hot tub was FILLED with young children. I have a problem with adults not being able to use the hot tub because there is no room. When we finally were able to fit, there were still a lot of kids in it squirting water guns, jumping, and splashing. All of that should be done in the POOL not the HOT TUB.

Friendly, clean, overall we enjoyed our stay but a couple things we didn’t care for or needed was the parking lot being across the street very inconvenient especially in cold weather, no microwave in the room, also bed was comfortable but pillows were to firm very uncomfortable

There are very strong smells in the Lobby. I didn’t like it; it was impossible to breathe, but everything else was very good.

Paid for 2 queen. Tried to check in early, no rooms. Fine. Tried at 3pm check-in, no rooms. Fine. Confirmed waiting for 2 queen room. Wait for text for room ready. No text. Call and ask at 5pm, no 2 queen rooms, only king available. Blithe indifference from front desk, couldn't care less. Tell me I can't cancel, call *******. Will spread the word to avoid this place.

Very nice place to stay. Quite comfortable rooms. Highly Recommended. Would stay again.

I did not like my stay here it was to many kids and had to wait a hour to check into my room laid at the front desk was rude was not finished talking to her before she started checking someone else in
