This quaint hideaway in the Spanish countryside is truly charming. The accommodations were excellent, the staff--Teresa, Narda and Loli--were amazing! This was a highlight of our Camino de Santiago trek!

A nice casa rural, but several miles off the Camino—no fun in the rain!. We had walked about 9 miles, and stopped at Hotel O Pino to call for a ride. Teresa came down to pick us up, got us settled in to our rooms, told us about the inn, waited tables at dinner and breakfast, and took payments—-like so many places on the Camino, a small hotel run almost entirely by one woman. The room was comfortable, pretty, with nice linens and pillows, overlooking a beautiful green meadow. The food is uninspired, and overpriced, but hearty. We appreciated the kindness and warm welcome after a hard, messy day of walking.

It is such a nice place. Very quiet and a bit isolated. Beautiful surroundings. Food was all delicious. (Really! You should try.) The owners? The most kind people. I enjoy staying here, taking walks along the river and getting myself prepared for the last bit on the Camino the next day. I even had the opportunity to use a bathtub - that was just the right time for me. Thank you.

Charming hotel in a rural setting; its even got a museum! The owner took great care of us, cooking our evening meal himself as we were the only occupants. Lovely walk along the river behind the property. Bedroom comfortable with good views of surrounding countryside.

My last night on the Camino before Santiago and it couldn't have been better. Nuria picked us up from nearby Amenal and then proceeded to do everything from taxi driver, receptionist, waitress and transport organiser for the next morning. This old mill house is so interesting and is in a beautiful setting that we enjoyed in the afternoon shade. My room is very comfortable with the sound of the stream outside my window. Our menu of the day dinner was expertly prepared by Jumy and Nuria and it was the perfect end to our penultimate day.

Un luogo lúgubre e maltenuto, dove regnano la polvere e le ragnatele. A noi sono capitate le camere in una specie di cantina-grotta-museo, stracolma di vecchi attrezzi malandati, dove l’umidita la faceva da padrona, un’esperienza che sconsiglio vivamente. Inoltre é sperduto in aperta campagna, e se si desidera cenare a O Pedrouzo, é obbligatorio chiamare un taxi, sempre che si abbia la fortuna di trovarne uno!

Siamo stati qui una notte durante il cammino: una casa museo antica accanto ad un fiume meraviglioso. Gestito da una coppia, camere comode e un pochino umide. Prato e fiumiciattolo dove è possibile bagnarsi in un acqua trasparente. Cibo eccellente e abbondante. La coppia gestisce da sola tutta la struttura e quindi è davvero indaffarata ma assolutamente gentile.
