They considering their hotel is good enough due to location and doing nothing to make it’s service better. Room costing more than it’s worth. Too poor, with even no bottle of water inside. When we asked for a water they told that they get used to drink water from the tap in Denmark. Imagine you’re coming to a good restaurant and they will tell you the same ? don’t think so. It means hotel service is on the lowest level. Breakfast was simple, can’t say they taking too much care of it. The cheapest products. For ex..: in CPH you can find a room 2 times cheaper, which is renovated and caring about details to make your stay good.

I was looking forward to our stay here, it was out most expensive accommodation for a 3 week trip. It was horrible. The check in girl was nice, but after that it went down hill. The room was a sauna. It was horribly hot so we thought we would just open the windows and get some air. Unfortunately it was surrounded by huge spiders and no screen to stop them from coming in. My husband killed a few in 1 window so we could open it for a few minutes but even he wasn’t getting near the big one (pic). No other resolution when we came to the front desk to tell them our room was so hot. Decided that well- if we are going to be hot we might as well enjoy our evening in the hot tub (a big reason we booked here) - but alas, it was cold. Again, no resolution for that from the front desk. They also don’t have towels down at the spa/pool area which was very odd- and if you didn’t look on the floor of the closet in your room under the slippers, you wouldn’t have known that’s where the towel is that you are supposed to take with you (we found it as we were leaving). It has a fridge, which was essential for us and a deciding factor (meds that need refrigerated) - but it didn’t work. Come morning, everything is warm and destroyed. We didn’t sleep well at all with the room so hot (it had to be at least 75f, 24c in there). Packed up and went to grab breakfast just before 9am. Was a breakfast buffet. The fruit and bread were good. Hot food wasn’t hot or the container was empty, so if you plan to have hot food you apparently need to go much earlier. It was nice to finally see the ocean though during breakfast since our room overlooked the roof and parking lot. We stayed in a 1bedroom apartment in downtown Copenhagen for half the cost of this place and it was far more comfortable. Maybe in the winter this place would be good when you need it warm inside. But in the summer (even when it’s not very hot outside) it is just far too hot inside the room without the AC working. The amenities are broken and need updated. The old tv remote was so large and heavy you could kill someone if you hit them in the head with it. Told the front desk all the problems and disappointment when we left in the morning. They didn’t seem to care. I highly suggest you move on. There has to be far better places than this at a much less cost.

Great stay, everything is really clean and calm, very comfortable in every possible way. As the name suggests the rooms are small but they are well designed and feel spacious. Excellent service. I would definitely come back.

My stay at Comwell Klarskovgaard from November 29 to December 1, 2023, was an exquisite experience. The hotel's architecture strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and timeless elegance, creating a serene and classy atmosphere. The service was outstanding, with staff showing genuine interest in guest wellbeing, adding a personal touch to the stay. We had 3 nights staying at Hotel Odeon from Feb 15th to Feb 18th on a couples get away to Odense. The hotel is located in the middle of Odense with a perfect central location. The hotel have reserved parking spaces in the underground parking garage - we experienced lots of free spaces and the booths are wide, so no issues there. Note there is a parking fee. The hotel lobby and restaurant is nicely decorated and is of a high nice standard. Also we found the selection in the breakfast buffet to be plenty for us and taste full. Couple of things about the breakfast experience, The cleaning of used tables takes a while and also one morning, the waitress gathered all the dirty plates at a table in the restaurant and scraped them off with guests sitting at the tables next to it. 2nd thing is that the staff started picking from the buffet during opening hours for guests, I would expect that to happen after they closed the buffet for guests - Compared with other hotels of this standard I have never seen this else where and not expect this at a hotel of this standard. We booked a Deluxe room which have plenty of space and nicely decorated. The bed is a queen/king size and very comfortable. There were also a nice sofa, table and desk. Very nice rooms. Cleaning however could have been better - We found peanuts in the sofa and on the floor at check in. The toilet brush was a health hazard (Will spare the details/photos) We asked for it to be replaced and that happened quickly, so all good on that. But the cleaning staff should have checked this and replaced it before new guests check in. So all in all - cleaning was of a lower standard Well, all in all we had a great stay at Hotel Odeon and will pick this hotel again when going to Odense. However there are a couple of misses in our opinion given the price level and the standard of Hotel Odeon.

I'd happily stay at the Cabinn again as a solo traveller - the location is superb, right next to the station, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and quiet. However, as a family experience it was very disappointing. The room was extremely cramped for three people, and the top bunk did not come with any kind of safety barrier to stop the person sleeping on it from falling onto the people sleeping (transversely) in the double bed below. My child (Zoe) was unhappy about sleeping up there, but we felt it would have been dangerous for either I (Jeb) or my partner (Delores) to sleep up there lest we fall out in our sleep and land on those below. We therefore ended up with Delores moving the upper bunk mattress onto the floor, and sleeping on that. I've slept in ships cabins and other hotels with bunks, and also in camper vans with elevated beds, but I've never seen one without any kind of restraint to prevent falls. Very odd. We had breakfast at one of the many eateries in the Station, so can't comment on the hotels offer. Overall, great value if you don't mind compromising on space, but not a good family option.
