"The best hotel for breakfast on this trip, full english. Jetwing’s small villa has only three rooms, a housekeeper, the room is very large, it also has heating, it is very english style, you can go to the jetwing hotel for dinner, walk 5-10 minutes, 10 minutes away from the pink post office, 30 minutes away from the tea factory taxi."
"Especially good this place is perfect. In fact, I live in a villa, there is a housekeeper, especially good, and the food I eat is also very good. I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos."
"The hotel is super satisfied, the facilities and services are very good, the surrounding environment is also super good, there is no signal on the mountain, you can only use the hotel wifi All in all, a hotel that is very recommended"
"A lovely stay! It’s been a little chilly in late July, the room has a heater and a thick blanket making my stay cosy. The wifi signal has been great - in my previous accommodations they would be unstable. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, I was able to do my laundry here, which was perfect as I’ve just over half way in my time in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was well balanced and healthy. The location is perfect, it’s right next to the main road. There’s a big supermarket nearby as well the city centre. For hiking you can easily access the Single Tree hill. Thank you for having me."
"Our stay in the villa yea fields was a real paradise.
It’s impossible to describe how peaceful it is, how relaxing and inspiring.
We have spent 2 most lovely days in this villa thanks to the genuine kindness of the hosts and villa’s situation. Located in the very middle of the tea fields, you can not get enough of this view.
Breakfast is very rich and carefully prepared, the room is spacious and clean. The hosts are the most wonderful people.
We even had a chance to have a private visit to the tea fields which was definitely the aim of our journey to Sri Lanka.
Highly recommend for your stay in the peace and unspoiled nature !"

"Arriving in the afterglow of the setting sun, the two-story small building of this villa is quite suitable for couples or a family of four. Since our tour guide only accompanies us for one day, we solved the dinner problem before arriving at the destination. If you don’t prepare dinner, the waiter at the hotel will use tutu Drive customers down the mountain to eat. But we have to come back before ten o'clock in the evening. Opposite the hotel is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. The sound of praying for blessing accompanies us to sleep and accompanies us to get up early and open the window to see the best mountain village in Lanka, surrounded by clouds and mist. Generally speaking, the focus is on the bathtub with a very good view. It is just the decoration because the temperature here is low and the hot water is not enough. It is not enough to take a bath. The hot water was gone as soon as I applied the shampoo. The whole process of shampooing my hair with ice water even though I felt super helpless. The first day of 2019 was very speechless. Breakfast was the bread ➕ eggs ➕ ham sausage delivered the night before. Make your own omelette. Ok"

"The overall experience is very nice and the meals were top notch (compared to other hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka)!
The room is cozy and overall vibe is nice too. It’s like an English bungalow.
The only thing to comment was there was no table in the room, so we need to ask for one.
Definitely recommend this one after tea garden tours."
"The location is a little far from the center of Nuwara Eliya, but you can walk to the lake. It's a cold place in Sri Lanka and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so I recommend wearing warm clothes.
The breakfast was a simple English breakfast, but it was very delicious and the staff were nice.
There are bugs in the rooms, so I recommend it for people who don't mind that much.
The shower has hot water."

Amazing
GGuest UserA really lovely house, clean and in a quiet location outside of the centre of town.
The absolute star of this listing is the host Shameera who is one of the best there could be. He’s incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and always on hand with great tips and ideas on where to go and what to do. His breakfast was also exemplary.
Thanks for a great stay
MMonica Lim WKVery attentive service, especially from front desk stafff Thejan who is passionate about his job. He's also cheerful and took good care of his guests. Glad to have Lakshan as our guide to the waterfall and our tea plantation experience. Chef Morgan cooks amazing Sri Lankan food and also very fine western cuisine. The rest of the staff were very attentive as well.
XXUDONGThe hotel is good, the facilities in the room are slightly worse, the bathroom is relatively small, the price is not very favorable, and there is a small swimming pool outside. However, the temperature is very low and the swimming pool is very slow. I am swimming in the water for a long time.
JJohnyAppleseedQuiet location in the middle of a tea plantation about 30 minutes drive from Nuwara Eliya.
Hotel had an age old charm retaining many of its colonial era features.
Carpeted and so mostly quiet at night apart from the occasional creaking with guests coming and going.
Good wifi and water supply.
We needed to use the heater at night but a comfy nights sleep otherwise with blackout curtains. Thank you Patmanathan for keeping our room clean and stocked up.
The grounds are well maintained and they have a lovely small garden.
They have tea tasting, nature walks, Horton Park guided walks as options for those interested.
The Spa had good options too and is very reasonably priced.
Highly recommended if you are staying in the area.
AAnonymous UserVery good, facilities and hygiene are good. I changed hotels every day in Sri Lanka, and I felt that the price and quality were matched. This hotel is next to the Grand Hotel. Considering that I had to leave for Galle early the next morning, I chose this one with a lower price. There is a gas station outside the window of my room. There is a gasoline smell when the window is open. I will give you a reference. Maybe you can tell the front desk when you check in.

AAnonymous UserMy wife and I stayed here during our trip to Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the great ratings on Google.
The location is a little outside of town, so you’ll need to take a tuktuk to get there. It costs less than USD3, and honestly, riding through Nuwara Eliya on a tuktuk was part of the fun.
The guesthouse itself feels like a large bungalow with several rooms, designed with a classic British-style interior. Our room was one floor up, not very big but cozy and just right for our stay. The highlight was the balcony that faced the lake, where we could watch the sunrise in the morning. At night, the temperature dropped to around 13°C, so we didn’t even need air conditioning. The water heater worked well, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable.
One thing I wished for was indoor slippers. The floor got very cold at night, so I had to wear socks, which was manageable but slippers would have been nicer.
The caretaker was warm and welcoming. He greeted us with hot tea on arrival, which felt amazing in the chilly weather. Breakfast was simple but good. Since we checked out early, he prepared an American-style breakfast for us.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with beautiful views, kind hospitality, and a peaceful atmosphere.
CChunTravelsA lovely little stay near the train station. It’s a sleepy town with a nice water fall a short walk away. The views were idyllic, facing the hills of tea. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, much needed after the long train ride from Kandy. The host was super accommodating, definitely recommend the home made breakfast - especially because there’s no eateries around. The host messaged me in the evening, concerned about my whereabouts and even provided pick up. Thank you!
Only thing for me was the locks/latches were a little fidgety. Other than that, it’s great value.
SSHAOPENGThe location of this hotel is a bit hard to find, but it was really unexpected after entering the hotel. The hotel staff is very good, there will be drinks and drinks, the dinner is really good, and then the breakfast will be prepared in advance in the morning. The only downside is that the room is small, but the scenery outside is very good.
GGuest UserThe hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel.
I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer.
Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The first thing that struck me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I stepped through the doors. The lobby was elegantly decorated, creating a sense of luxury without being overly ostentatious.
The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff displaying a high level of professionalism and friendliness. They provided all the necessary information about the hotel amenities and services, making me feel well-informed and taken care of.
