The Argyle Luxury Boutique Hotel

A wonderful luxury hotel with beautiful views of the surrounding tea plantations. This was the fourth time my wife and I stayed at this hotel and each time, it simply gets better. Although we noted that the hotel was much busier compared to previous years, the service was faultless. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, helpful and always willing to go that extra mile to see to our needs. Rooms are spacious, extremely comfy and well equipped. It is really living the life, sitting out on the balcony, sipping coffee and taking in the breathtaking views of the distant mountains, Tea plantations and Adams Peak, as dawn breaks. Breakfast and Dinners have always been sumptuous. The hotel also provides an excellent High Tea. The cleanliness of this hotel is second to none and whilst sitting out on the balcony we observed the gardener and other staff members busy at work. The pool and the spar are additional facilities one can enjoy at this hotel. Whilst emphasising that the service provided to us by All staff members was exceptional, we would like to mention by name some of the staff who went over and above to respond to our requests. In the restaurant, Supervisor Udaya, Asst.manager Isuru, Manager Srikanth, Waiter Theagarajah, Naomi and chef Tharaka Sanjeeva. Gardener Vijayakanth took pride in showing us his beautiful garden and naming all the plants. Others who we would like to mention are Baggage collector captain Sudarshan, Guest relations senior executive Subhorshini, Bell boy Gihan Siriwardena and of course the Ever amiable front office Manager Nadan who is always at hand to help you with the broadest of smiles - symbolising typical Sri Lankan hospitality. We spent three wonderful nights at the Argyle, nestled in the picturesque tea plantation region. The hotel was exceptional, boasting outstanding service and immaculate cleanliness. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, with a special shoutout to Vithu, who ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I must also highlight the two amazing therapists, Dimuthu and Thushari, who provided us with what was likely the best massage we've ever experienced—an impressive feat considering we've had massages all over the globe! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

A delightful small and intimate hotel where you are treated as a special valued guest and almost like family. The views from the elevated position of the hotel towards Adams Peak are spectacular. We were privileged to have a suite with two balconies which made the most of this positioning. A fabulous and memorable stay.

We were visiting Sri Lanka over Christmas and new year visiting many areas. This was by far the best hotel of our stay. Rooms were beautiful, service and hospitality were second to none. They made us feel very special. If we are ever fortunate to visit Sri Lanka again we will definitely be going back to the Argyle, special mention to bar staff Sithija, Dhanushan and Amiga. Customs service at its best. The lady at the front desk was also so lovely but her name escapes me. I have to be honest I nearly cried when we left. Amazing

Great hosts. Great service. Loved my room. A welcoming and tranquil place to stay up in the Hatton area. The buffet was excellent as was the dining room. We were even lucky enough to be there for Sri Lankan national day service. The staff were fantastic!

Unfortunately, we only stayed at The Argyle for 2 nights on our tour. Located in the middle of the rice fields with a circular hiking trail, it was the top resort on our Sri Lanka tour. As a big birthday surprise, we even got the resort's only suite, which is amazing. Very nice and attentive team, from the reception to the restaurant, the pool service, the gardeners... there are only nice and friendly people here who do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. And the High Tea in the afternoon of the 2nd day: soooo delicious. So The Argyle became a real highlight of our Sri Lanka trip in 2025.
