We absolutely loved the hotel. It’s beautiful inside and out, great service and amazing breakfast. They were very helpful with booking activities and let us stay a bit longer to wait for our car. L

The rooms are decorated in Nordic style and are very comfortable. There are only 12 rooms in the entire hotel. The service is similar to that of a butler. Although there are not many varieties of dinner and breakfast, they are very exquisite and suitable for family outings!

Small hotel, fine for a night or two. We spent one night here and had planned a lie in but we were woken up very early by the rattling windows. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited but fine. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel so can't comment on that.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a Trip a Deal tour. Had a huge ground floor room with lovely comfy window lounges, big tv, king and single beds. Coffee and tea facilities and a fridge which came in handy for our drinks. Nice layout with shower and toilet areas in separate rooms, does take awhile for hot water to come through but plentiful when it does. Staff were very friendly and professional, breakfast and the dinner service were impressive for such a small hotel. Nice gentle walk into town, food court and small supermarket attached to larger hotel one block over. Large Keels supermarket about a 10 minute walk opposite direction from town which was a great find to help us overcome no alcohol available in hotel. Fantastic tour of Horton Plains undertaken, and a not so fantastic tour of Moon Plains occupied our time. Markets and nice dining options in town too.

We stayed for one night and overall our experienced was very good. ITs a small hotel but still had a games room and the bedrooms were indivividual and nicely presented. The food was quite limited due to the size but nevertheless very tasty. I think its the climate in the area but we did find the room a little damp otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

A quant “ guesthouse” feel. Booked again by ourSL tour operator as a triple room but only 2beds. A common issue which may have not been communicated .They managed to squeeze in a well worn trundle bed in for us. The positives, a warm welcome, a 10 minute stroll into town, supermarket. We had dinner and breakfast included, whilst not the biggest spread it was all presented with care and attention. The 2 young men working the dining room did a great job.

This is a really nice place to stay! We had lovely rooms and enjoyed the hotel. Kids we enthousiastic to discover the playroom. Staff was wonderfull, helpfull and we felt the warm welcome. Loved dining there, and breakfast was really good. We would really recommend this place.

Although relatively small with just 12 rooms this attractive hotel provides all one might need. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, and the hotel also offers a rooftop terrace, a games room and a small library. The staff too were very welcoming. It is a relatively easy walk to other places in town and perhaps worth exploring other food options since the buffet for dinner was rather uninspiring.
