2-Star Hotels in Nuremberg

I did not have a great stay here. I was stuck in a room with foreign construction workers. They would stay up until 1 AM with all lights on, chatting and talking to their family back home. They would then be up again at 5 AM cooking curry in the room. I think they had been living there for a prolonged period of time. The staff were very unhelpful when I asked to relocate, they refused to move me. As such I did not sleep for five nights. The woman on the desk in the morning would also disappear for about two hours every morning to go eat breakfast downstairs, no other staff member would be on reception in her absence. One morning I was waiting for her for about an hour and a half, other guests were also waiting, some even mistook me for being a staff member. The hostel advertised breakfast running until 10 AM, I went down at 9 AM one morning, I seen the reception woman there enjoying a large hearty meal, she quickly informed me that breakfast was over and that I could not get anything there (I had spent the previous 40 mins waiting to buy a breakfast token at reception, but again the reception woman was eating downstairs so I could not buy a token and I subsequently missed breakfast even though it was advertised until 1000 AM). Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

Location is great, right next to Nuremberg main station. Parking spaces are also available. Even if you can't find a parking space, there are plenty of options in the area. The staff were friendly at reception. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food as I didn't eat there. Otherwise everything was fine.

It was a very pleasant stay. Clean hotel , nice staff. I loved the spacious and great breakfast room with a nice and healthy sustainable breakfast as well. The comfort room is such an amazing experience with the large double bed and the waterfall shower. Definitely a must in the city 🏙️

The location is very convenient next to the u line. If the itinerary is arranged to visit the German Museum, you can come back immediately to rest. The shower equipment is warm enough and the hot water is very refreshing! The price is a hotel with a high CP value in Nuremberg.

Typical ibis hotel 24h fluent English front desk plus 2-3 star hotel standard infrastructure advantages can be said to be cheap price location is close to the train station and the old town is very convenient plus the room size for me is really big amazing .... I personally didn't experience any obvious disadvantages Overall, it's not too much problem for Samsung (much better than many unworthy Samsung hotels in Europe ....... but there is one thing to explain .... Trip.com has a problem with the cover of the old city that ibis... nothing else.

The location is too... too... too... well. It took five minutes for the train station to arrive, and it was also at the entrance to the commercial street. The hotel is small but very hygienic and the staff is very welcoming. Excellent value for money hotel.

It was not my first stay there; I choose the hotel because it has a good price/performance ratio, ÖV-friendly is located, clean and maintained. The rooms behind are very quiet. I am particularly positive that when the ladies enter the house, I am now being referred to by the reception with my name.

Booked a hotel for one night! The food in the restaurant is very delicious! The breakfast is also very delicious! The overall price/performance ratio is very good! Especially recommended for cyclists, it is possible to buy a favorite bicycle (free of charge). Will come back to the hotel next time!

Considering this is only a 3* property, the staff make sure you have a far greater experience that really impresses. The hotel is located a relatively short walk from Nuremberg Castle (about 10 -15 minutes) which is the Northern point of the old town. You can also ride the 4 Tramline that stops outside the hotel or the U3 underground line is less than a 10 minute walk. As such, you're very well connected and in easy reach of everything the city has to offer. The hotel looks like an older building, almost medieval in it's styling, but it is modern, fresh and clean. They are practicing COVID protocols, which must be followed and that included having a vaccination certificate to check in. Masks are required in all the public areas and you need to specify a breakfast time so as they can organize the distance seating. My room was odd in that it was huge, but set for one person. A big double bed, but with a single duvet and just one pillow. The linens were fresh and clean and mattress comfortable. There's a desk, chair, small table, flat screen TV and good space for luggage and hanging clothes, but it felt very empty because of the size. Hardly a complaint. There's a fridge, which is very welcome. The heating was good and needed in the cold winter. Bathrooms have a shower/tub and basin with excellent hot water pressure, but the only amenity is a standard body/hair wash. Towels were a bit old, but certainly clean. Currently, house keeping is limited because of COVID, but towels are refreshed every day and they empty the trash. Breakfast is excellent. On my first morning, they even laid out a chocolate Santa for me, which was very nice. There is everything you'd want to eat and more. A really good selection of hot and cold items, all of very high quality. It's buffet style, but the staff are still there to help and are always friendly and clear tables quickly. The one problem the hotel is currently experiencing is with their WIFI provider. Although free, the property has run into a tech issue they seem unable to solve that means you have to pay to log in to each device. You will have no choice but to pay, so make sure when you login you get a receipt. Just email it to the front desk and they will immediately reimburse you either in cash or make a credit on your credit card. They are just as frustrated by the provider as the guests, but they are super efficient about repaying the guest's costs. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this hotel. Very nice staff and good problem solvers that means problems aren't problems at all. I believe there is parking on site, but I didn't need it. They also have fresh fruit to help yourself throughout the day. A great option for Nuremburg.
