This hotel has a chain in many parts of Germany, generally not in the city center, but not far from the subway. The room is not big, there is no way to add an extra bed. The biggest advantage is that the tableware is complete, equipped with a sink and an induction cooker. You can buy the ingredients yourself at the opposite supermarket. The only downside is that it is stuck on the road, a bit noisy...

The house is very well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which has all the kitchen utensils, cups and saucers you need, and even seasonings. The interior design is also very stylish, and the room itself is very nice.
The floor looked clean, but it was actually full of dust. I walked barefoot at first, but I didn't put on my slippers until I found that the soles of my feet were completely dusty. The coffee machine was also filled with dust and I was afraid to use it at all.
The location is good, close to the train station and within walking distance to attractions.
There is an iron gate at the gate that requires a code to open the door, but there is no instruction on how to open it from the inside. I tried many methods for the first time and pressed it randomly. Finally, I found that there is a rope that needs to be pulled down to open the iron gate. If there is more Clear guidance would be better.
The service is really average, because they require self-check-in. I have already read the message when booking, so I took the initiative to contact them after booking, hoping to learn how to self-check-in in advance. However, after many times of contact through the platform, they still refused to inform me and only said that they would be notified 24 hours in advance. Even 24 hours ago, I still didn't receive it, so I had to proactively contact the booking platform. I took screenshots of the search results in the email to prove that I had not received any emails. Finally, I obtained the other party's email address through the platform and proactively Send an email. In the end, I didn't actually receive a self-check-in method. I found it through their website and then checked in myself. I think they can inform the check-in process in advance to reduce guests' concerns.

I stayed here for one night before heading out to the airport to fly back home and I was impressed with the hotel facilities. Is like a US based Sheraton not your EU like one. The lobby was very nice and modern, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The breakfast area and whole selection and options were great. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and deserving kudos for their doing above and beyond. The front desk staff were very hospitable from the check in lady to the checkout guy. Overall a good place to stay and it will be for sure my place to stay next time I’m in Nuremberg. No more Le Meridian 😜.

Location very comfortable, face to the metro, well-cared and friendly staff and with excellent English. I suggest a few improvements, since the client is also business. The hostel was probably full during my stay, so the bathrooms were not clean as I would expect them, and two only toilets for men on the floor seem to me few, because I had to stay in the coat. I would like to have a more choice for breakfast, especially for the sweet but also for the salt.

We've been staying at the DK just about every year since 2002 (the pandemic was the only reason for the hiatus). As many other reviewers have already noted, the location simply cannot be beat, the staff are excellent, and it's a clean, safe, comfortable home base for your trip to Nürnberg. However, as I walked down the hall this December it finally occurred to me why we love this place so much... unlike the cookie cutter hotel chains, it literally has its own personality, like an old, trusted, beloved friend. A lot of that is thanks to the friendly and competent staff, but the building itself, the antique decorations, the stone staircase, the quirky alcoves, the exposed sandstone wall blocks, even the lovingly worn tapestries and rugs immediately transport you back to a slower, more civilized era of travel. Although the modern amenities are all here, no one is rushed or stressed out, nothing about the place screams Trendiness! or Now!! Rather, every room, ever hall whispers quiet class, subdued elegance, come and relax and chat for a bit. And as trite as the cliché is, yes... ”Old World Charm.” There's even a parlor(!) next to the breakfast room where guests can read a newspaper, play the piano, lose themselves in a reverie, or check their smartphones and social media accounts. Trust me, after a day spent exploring the medieval city or an evening in the hustle and bustle of the Christkindlesmarkt, this is a wonderful thing... no matter how old or young you are. Our kids have grown up thinking of the Deutscher Kaiser as ”our” hotel. I hope we - and they - will keep returning here every year for the next 40 or more, and I hope very little, if anything, will change about it.

This hostel has a lovely minimalistic feel but is so homely and comfortable as well. So perfect for a trip with friends and is only a two minute walk from the train station and the tram. The breakfast was so awesome and the bottomless fizzy drinks machine was great. It makes Nuremberg a better place!

People, pay attention: when you get to your rooms, always check the a/c, especially in the summer. It seems this hotel has huge problems with the a/c and the whole management and no matter if the a/c is broken in the rooms, they'll still put you there and charge you the absolutely same amount of money as for a ”normal” room. Absolutely unacceptable for NH Collection, excuse me!!
My case: I went to my room and thought everything is ok. 4 hours later I figured out that the a/c doesn't cool down the room, but only the ventilation & heating functions are working. When I complained, the guy at the reception told me: ”I can't do anything right now, you just open your window and tomorrow when the technician can't repair the a/c, your room will be changed”. ***?! Really?! NH Collection??
On the next day they have me another room, where the a/c worked exactly for 24h. On the day I had to check-out, the a/c stopped working as well. The lady at the reception only said: ” Oh, also this room needs to be repaired”. When she opened her list, there were at least 10 rooms marked red with broken a/c.
In sum: Never again there!!!

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

Outstanding
Jjojo好好玩Overall good. On the pedestrian street in the city center, there is a high-rated Japanese ramen downstairs.
The simple style of the room is beautiful. It feels like a hotel remodeled by a church or office building.
But we arrived late that night, and the front desk got off work at 8 o'clock and left us a room card. It said a number. We thought it was the room number and found someone inside. We were both scared. Finally, I found out that the original room number was not.... The room number was written in the envelope.....
TTuxannie WuanThis hotel is very convenient since is just two block away from main train station. The breakfast is ok, enough variety and the staffs are friendly.
The bar downstairs seem like a very good option for meet up too
GGuest UserRight in front of the Nuremberg Christmas Market
If the room is small, but the Christmas market is your goal, I recommend this place. We tried to pull and park the car at the hotel, but it was impossible during Christmas. We used a paid parking lot in front of the hotel. This is not a big problem because parking at the hotel is expensive, but I only arrived the first night and was a bit tired due to parking.
The picture is a room
GGuest UserConsidering this is only a 3* property, the staff make sure you have a far greater experience that really impresses. The hotel is located a relatively short walk from Nuremberg Castle (about 10 -15 minutes) which is the Northern point of the old town. You can also ride the 4 Tramline that stops outside the hotel or the U3 underground line is less than a 10 minute walk. As such, you're very well connected and in easy reach of everything the city has to offer. The hotel looks like an older building, almost medieval in it's styling, but it is modern, fresh and clean. They are practicing COVID protocols, which must be followed and that included having a vaccination certificate to check in. Masks are required in all the public areas and you need to specify a breakfast time so as they can organize the distance seating. My room was odd in that it was huge, but set for one person. A big double bed, but with a single duvet and just one pillow. The linens were fresh and clean and mattress comfortable. There's a desk, chair, small table, flat screen TV and good space for luggage and hanging clothes, but it felt very empty because of the size. Hardly a complaint. There's a fridge, which is very welcome. The heating was good and needed in the cold winter. Bathrooms have a shower/tub and basin with excellent hot water pressure, but the only amenity is a standard body/hair wash. Towels were a bit old, but certainly clean. Currently, house keeping is limited because of COVID, but towels are refreshed every day and they empty the trash. Breakfast is excellent. On my first morning, they even laid out a chocolate Santa for me, which was very nice. There is everything you'd want to eat and more. A really good selection of hot and cold items, all of very high quality. It's buffet style, but the staff are still there to help and are always friendly and clear tables quickly. The one problem the hotel is currently experiencing is with their WIFI provider. Although free, the property has run into a tech issue they seem unable to solve that means you have to pay to log in to each device. You will have no choice but to pay, so make sure when you login you get a receipt. Just email it to the front desk and they will immediately reimburse you either in cash or make a credit on your credit card. They are just as frustrated by the provider as the guests, but they are super efficient about repaying the guest's costs. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this hotel. Very nice staff and good problem solvers that means problems aren't problems at all. I believe there is parking on site, but I didn't need it. They also have fresh fruit to help yourself throughout the day. A great option for Nuremburg.
GGuest UserStayed 2 nights while in Nuremberg at the Hampton and found it to be perfectly fine. It's a short 5 minute walk if that from the station past all the other hotels - Motel One , Leonardo, Novotel and Premier Inn so the area is well lit and very safe. The U2 train from the airport to Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof / station service is excellent. Checkin was quick and allocated room on the 5th floor facing the street - there was no noise during the night so the sound proofing must have been good. The room was a good size, compact yet functional. The bed was clean and actually very comfortable , nice and firm , I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was fine, again it was compact but it did the job. Easy to use shower, toiletries fixed to the wall as seems to be the case these days. Towels were a little thin but that's a minor issue. Wifi was free and easy to connect , the complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch and overall a pretty decent room , well appointed and clean. Wardrobe space was limited but sufficient for a short stay. The free Hampton breakfast wasn't too bad - as many Nuremberg sausages as you could eat with scrambled egg and some beans or potato squares. Nice selection of bread and pastries. The cold meat and cheese selection was poor quality but the highlight was the easy to use waffle maker , a hit with everyone. Machine coffee and juices were so so but considering it's a budget hotel it was better than I expected. The coffee machine is available all day long so grab a cup after a day sightseeing in the city. Staff were excellent , always cheerful and happy to help. A fellow guest wanted a 10 minute hard boiled egg as the ones in the buffet were only cooked for 6 minutes - not a problem ! The location is perfect , walking distance to the old town or the #8 tram to the rally grounds , a great budget choice if visiting Nuremberg.
BBeryanThe B&B HOTEL Nürnberg-Hbf was a great choice for my stay in Nuremberg. Its prime location right next to the main train station made it incredibly convenient for arriving and departing, as well as exploring the city. With numerous tourist attractions within easy walking distance, I was able to effortlessly immerse myself in Nuremberg's rich history and culture. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. While I didn't have the opportunity to experience breakfast and the hotel's amenities, its unbeatable location alone made it a standout choice.
good Hotel in Nürnberg, not far fromthe Train station.Walking distance or two underground stops tothe inner historic town centre. Clean rooms,,compfy beds.A bottle of water and shampoo are supplied. the breakfast choice is very good, with hot food and coffee machine. And attentive staff. The food gets topped up as soon as they see its run out.Good choice of dishes for breakfast,,It was nice having a water jug to make your own tea and coffee.Good Room service. The windows are double glazed,,so its quiet. .This Hotel is to be recommended.
The location is both bad and good; too close to railway line and traffic for comfort but convenient when traveling. The hotel itself has a rather cumbersome layout since it consists of 3 (or 2, I'm not sure) different but connected buildings which makes finding your rooms a bit f a challenge. It is also in need of some upgrading. Rooms are ok but not very charming. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment; the famous bratwurst was lacking 2 out of 3 mornings and the food selection was limited. That was the negatives, then the positives; very helpful staff, high hygienic standard, easy check-in/out, quick taxi service and an absolute decent restaurant. The place has little charm but it works. Finally, the cost was Eur 255 Including breakfast) per night which I feel is really too high for a hotel this standard but it was during the IWA exhibition when prices tend to rise to the unacceptable levels.
EEwa KWe stayed one night, the room was well cleaned, the bathroom well-equipped, and the bed comfortable; there was no air con, but there was a fan instead which worked alright for us. Lighting was very nice and well-arranged too. Little gummibears from Haribo on the pillows was a nice touch. Parking was paid (8 euro a night), but easy to access and use. The only glitch was that according to the hotel info, checkout time was 11am, while the lady at the reception desk insisted very much we check out at 10 instead. Also, it would be nice to have something warm to drink in the evening, but there were only cold drinks available at the machine downstairs and no kettle in the room.
