We booked our stay for one night during long weekend and ended up leaving the room and booking somewhere else. It’s nothing like what you see in pics. Rooms and old and run down. There were cracks in the wall where old aircon was and big flies were coming in from that. We were told that restaurant was closed because there were no staff available due to long weekend. We tried to raise this with trip.com and we’re offered $15 worth of credit but refund.

Great place to stay but unfortunately you cannot buy food on Monday's or Tuesday's. Probably should mention that on the website so people know to BYO.

They have renovated an old 60’s motel well , it’s clean room was decent size with little balcony

A lovely little gem of a motel. The rooms are a great size, comfy, with a fridge, toaster, microwave and tea & coffee. To top it off, there’s a pool with communal BBQs. The manager was friendly and really helpful, and sorted us out a late check out with no problem.
There is an Italian restaurant on site (separately managed) which the food was amazing! With that had been open more.
Lyndoch is great place to stay, and only a 1hr drove from Adelaide airport

In comparison to other Motels we have stayed at in our travels between Melbourne and Adelaide - this is hands down, the coolest, cleanest and fund placed we've stayed at.
It's modern yet it's preserved what an Australian Motel should be and look like.

Very friendly to all, comfy beds, easy check in & out whatever time you arrive or leave...
Nice walking tracks...
Lots of roos & rabbits to see..
BBQ to cook your own food outside if you wish to, excellent condition inside & out...

The rooms were clean, comfortable and fresh. It appears they had been recently upgraded which was lovely. The furnishings were modern. The shower dripped but there was no one at reception the next morning to let them know.

It was a nice enough stay for a night. The facility is a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean with all the supplies we needed. The girl at reception was pleasant enough but keen to get back to what she as doing. Maybe a little overpriced for what it is.
