Here’s a revised version of your feedback: --- This hotel does not deserve a 3-star rating. While we were welcomed warmly, However we were then informed that we needed to purchase our own water and milk for coffee. Additionally, they were unable to prepare eggs or pancakes for breakfast because they had run out of gas. To make matters worse, there were four dogs sitting in the dining area, which was uhygenic. . The lack of paved paths made it extremely challenging for me as a person using a walking stick. Although we received assistance with our suitcases to our room on the first floor, the overall experience was disappointing. The room itself was unacceptable. The towels were discolored, and there was mould on the walls. One of the bathroom sockets was literally hanging out of the wall. It was so unsatisfactory that we felt compelled to leave and find accommodation at another hotel. --- Feel free to modify any part if you'd like!

Lovely little piece of paradise hidden away just moments from the beach. Would return here in a heartbeat. Gorgeous gardens and delightful decor. This is the perfect blend of traditional African and island holiday vibe. Definitely the place to be in Nungwi.

I'm a frequent traveler used to hotels of different categories . That is the reason I can't understand mostly good reviews. Casa Umoja is like a penal colony. The place itself has potential. It's located just a few steps from the beach and placed into a nice tropical lush garden. But ... - very humid dark room (after four days all my clothes was damp/wet) - unmaintained and dirty room/never deep cleaned - infested with worms - infested with various insects I'm aware that I was in tropical area - it's almost every year my winter routine. The humidity itself is expected, but not in the hotel room. There is a plenty of solutions to minimize it. For similar price/budget you can find the better place just a few meters away. For example Bagamoyo Spice Villa. The rooms there are very bright and clean, good maintened and equipped with AC, fan, clean momosquito net, breakfast is even better ...

I visited Zanzibar this August for the first time. An EX friend of my brother, and I say ex because from what I am going to tell you, he was no longer our friend, he highly recommended this accommodation to me. Of course that friend stole money from us, acted as an intermediary and took advantage of my kindness and generosity and disappeared, stoling me of my money and, most importantly, my time. I saw the photos of CASA UMOJA on the internet and although they didn't excite me AT ALL, due to the lack of knowledge of the island and the trust placed in that supposed ex friend of my brother, I got carried away and rented CASA UMOJA fortunately only for 4 days, initially they were going to be more days, thank goodness it wasn't like that. When I arrived at the accommodation and saw the 2 rooms that had been reserved for us, the world fell on me, DUST EVERYWHERE, MOSQUITOES, HARD AND DIRTY BEDS, COCKROACHES COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE BED, HOLES IN WALLS AND BATHROOM, BROKEN CURTAINS AND DIRTY, FULL OF HOLES WHERE ALL TYPES OF INSECTS COME IN, A TRUE HORROR, DIRTY, DARK AND HORRIBLE. IT SEEMED MORE LIKE THE HOUSE OF TERROR My surprise was that when I tried to talk to the person in charge, he was traveling, there was no one there except the doorman who opened the door for us and who disappeared instantly. That same night we left CASA UMOJA looking for better accommodation, of course we had paid in advance for that disastrous accommodation and that was the serious mistake. Until almost a week passed we were not able to speak with the person in charge, I sent them an email in which I told what happened and their response was totally unexpected, instead of apologizing for what happened, they were very offended and after thinking about it a lot, they offered to just send me back. 40% of the amount paid, doing me a favor, just out of pity, no apology for the state of the house, or for the inconvenience caused. Nothing at all. PLEASE. DO NOT STAY IN THAT HOLE FULL OF COCKROACHES AND THIEVES UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT RECEIVED

Posto STUPENDO! Atmosfere genuine, le persone DOLCISSIME!!! Rispetto altri posti ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Lo consiglio Rispetto altri posti un arredamento genuino locale, personale sempre disponibile a qualsiasi ora.
