The location of this hotel is great. It is right on the beach front and the hotel offers sun beds for its guests. There are many, many bars and restaurants just a short walk away along the beach. The downside is the rooms themselves. As I read, the water pressure in the shower was terrible - it was barely a trickle and I had to go and use my friends shower as I could not use my own. The bed and towels were both stained which made the place feel very unclean. The food in the restaurant is okay but there was many better options around. All in all a very cheap but basic hotel, but I am sure there are hotels for the same price that are cleaner.

I really enjoyed my stay at Baraka Beach Bungalows, very well located in the middle of Nungwi beach. The room is spacious, clean, and well furnished. The beach restaurant is amazing, especially for seafood lovers, They provide sunbeds with towels on the beach. The staff were wrlcoming and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Baraka. The room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and responsive. The beach is gorgeous but it is a busy place for people trying to sell their services- snorkeling trips, massages, fresh coconuts, etc. Politely decline and they'll move on. I'm not a seafood fan but if you are an evening meal on the beach is pretty special. Overall, it was a relaxing stay and good value for money.

Given some mixed reviews, we were partly hesitant to actually visit these bungalows. But if we would have listened to some of the reviews we would have missed quite a lot. I believe this hotel provides the best value for money in Nungwi. You get free sunbeds and breakfast daily at an excellent location. Cleaning is also done daily if you leave the keys at the reception. Staff are also very lively and very helpful. At night you can also dine at their restaurant, which is a lovely spot for sunset and above all you’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset.

The place is very romantic and is very suggested for couples. Fantastic! We had dinner and we ordered pasta with prawns, calamari rings, hamburger and a analcolic cocktail for 70000 tzs (32 usd). The food is not bad for the standard of tanzania but is not impressive. It is just acceptable. The food portion of calamari rings was very very small. The others were ok. Staff: good!

State alla larga da questo covo di disonesti Prenoti la camera,paghi in anticipo e poi non ce!!! Ci siamo trovati in mezzo alla strada con un bimbo piccolo e una signora anziana!! Non andate! Non riesci a trovare il proprietario per poter chiedere nemmeno le spiegazioni

Sono dei disonesti,tu fai la prenotazione on Line ,ti chiedono pagamento in anticipo e lì arrivi sul posto, trovi una persona incompetente che ti risponde che hanno fatto il over Booking e così rimani in mezzo la strada !!! Da evitare assolutamente

Al nostro arrivo abbiamo dovuto aspettare ore prima che ci informassero che le stanze che avevamo prenotato e già pagato sei mesi prima non erano più disponibili. Ci hanno offerto una sistemazione provvisoria, ad un ora e mezzo di pulmino, in mezzo al nulla, in una villa sporca, senza acqua e aria condizionata. Siamo stati costretti a trovare un’altra sistemazione in fretta e furia pagando il triplo di quello che avevamo già speso. Un viaggio di relax trasformato in un film dell’orrore.
