Our stay at Maisha left us with mixed feelings. In my room, I did not encounter visible mold, it was clean and the condition seemed good. However, my friends experience was very different and quite concerning: Their first room was in a terrible condition – mold on the walls, a filthy mirror, and stains in the bathroom. When they complained, the receptionist arranged 3 new rooms for the following days. 2 of them were in a good condition but in the last room was also mold on the walls. They did put paint over the mold but you could still see it through and smell it. On the positive side, most of the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good. As compensation, we were offered a free taxi to the airport. Overall, while there were some good aspects, the presence of mold in my friends room made the stay a little bit disappointing.

a perfect place, well maintained. two cute swimming pools. A quite place near noisy Nungwi. Perfect for the ones who don't like muss places. Nice breakfast near the pool. a good surprise considering its a 3 stars hotel.

Maisha is a beautiful boutique hotel nestled in lush gardens. From day 1 we felt very welcomed by all the staff on the property, always willing to assist in a polite and courteous manner. Maisha feels like a natural sanctuary where the natural surroundings and modern look blend together very well. The rooms are nice and the restaurants offer delicious food at a value price. Special thanks to all the staff, especially to Mumba and Brenda at the reception as well as Edo at the restaurant. Overall, a very nice hotel at an exceptionally good price. We will return for sure.

Beautiful. Fabulous location overlooking the sea. Waiters are very kind service very good grill although I expected more abundant watching her cook on the restaurant is a plus prices a little above everage from other places. Thank see you soon

Lovely, small hotel in a tropical setting. Spread across 5-6 buildings, with palm trees, one fresh water pool and one with salt water. Staff is exceptional. Always a smile and a can-do attitude. Smallish breakfast and lunch menu that becomes repetitive if you stay there for a long time, but good produce and nothing I would deduct points for. Beach is 2 mins walk away, and the hotel has it's own tuk tuk driver if you wish to head to the beaches or restaurants on the west side on Nungwi. The hotel also runs a beach club with a deck overhanging the sea, and fabulous sunset views (booking recommended for the tables with the best view).

We had a wonderful time at the hotel and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. You are surrounded by beautiful plants and palm trees, two pools, and everything is very well maintained. Amazing staff, delicious food, and a great massage. We would like to sincerely thank the entire Maisha team for the fantastic time 😄
