atii gardes bungalows is a really nice place to spend your vacation. it gives you the feeling of being in a garden in the middle of nature. the staff is very friendly, the breakfasts are excellent and the rooms are clean, as well as the palace is close by. highly recommended :)

The worst hotel experience I've had in a long time (I've been to 57 countries and at 52 I've been travelling since I was 18). We arrived at the hotel at 8.15pm and there was no one to check us in... after a bit of confusion we were taken to our room (large and not bad, by the way) where I couldn't adjust the air conditioning and the internet didn't work properly. After a message via booking, a woman called 'Tanya', claiming to be the hotel manager, came to the room and was extremely rude and bad-tempered. When we complained about her behaviour and said that we intended to leave the next day (and not stay the 4 days booked) she said that "we would have to leave immediately" and simply kick us out of the hotel! We left with our suitcases in hand and nowhere to go at 11pm in Nugwui! It was the most surreal situation I've ever experienced with hotels... I've stayed in good hotels, great hotels, bad hotels and very bad hotels... but this was the first time someone had kicked me out of one! Run away from this place!

Loved my stay here! The rooms were clean and well decorated. Spacious as well. The common area is filled with plants; this creates a calming space. The hotel is about a 3-5 mintue walk to the beach which is very convinient. Would highly recommend staying here during your visit to Nungwi.

The atmosphere is magic. The place is clean, organized and efficient. Close to a marvelous beach. Fresh and tidy and personnel is lovely. Atii is amazing. Wished to go back in summer but already full booked by march. till next time!

We only stayed here for one night but we wish we stayed for longer. They were so welcoming and friendly, the roomes were so pretty and the breakfast delicious with a huge choice. Could not have been better.

If you are looking for a nice and small structure far from the crowd, you are in the right place in those bungalows in a beautiful garden… Nice room ( cleaned everyday ) with fridge and a private terrasse…. 2 minutes walk from the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

quiet place. well located close to the beach. wonderful setting with the gardens.. makes for a very relaxing environment good staff. breakfast is simple and adequate, nothing fancy rooms are ok, spacious. but worn out. bathrooms could be better. maybe some upkeep and fresh paint can do some good cons: no tv, toiletries

I had a totally amazing experience. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The services provided are top! The room has everything required - AC, ventilators, comfortable bed, safe, shower. What is even more important everything was working smoothly. The place is close to the beach, it is well covered with the garden giving a shadow. They have breakfast options and a restaurant with delicious meals.

Small Oasis in Nungwi a stone's throw from everything. Very kind staff, excellent breakfast. Margot the reception manager, a fantastic person who immediately recommended the best experiences to have. Fantastic value for money. Compliments!!
