Visited KP back in April with my friend for a night away. We had a lovely suite with a hot tub that we made use of almost immediately. We didn’t use the restaurant that night so we ordered a takeaway from Franks in Pocklington, they kindly delivered and we waited at reception, but the driver did say he’d have rang us and delivered directly to our door if needed. We had such a lovely time, the suite was so clean and welcoming. Tea and coffee materials were available too which is always nice. The following morning we had breakfast included so made the most of this with a good view over the resort. I would definitely visit again. A lovely place to just relax and let all your worries fade away!

Lovely comfortable stay. We were totally surprised how lovely this place was. It was a little out of Pocklington with amazing views over the golf course snd surrounding countryside. Rooms were luxurious spacious and clean with a huge bathroom complete with bath and walk in shower. The chalets were of various styles and sizes some with hot tubs. All were only a short walk to the club house which served lovely food and had a nice bar area. There is also a large patio area which was brilliant to sit out on with a drink in the good weather. Highly delighted with our stay.

Had a lovely night away in a lodge with hot tub which my son had bought me for mothers day. The lodge was amazing breakfast was lovely the only downside was we couldnt book in for dinner the night we was there as there was a wedding so had to get takeaway pizza from the resort. Will definetly come back but midweek. All staff friendly loved it!!!

The lodge was nice bit a bit tired. Marked and torn wall paper and loose wiring. The oven was useless and didn't heat properly. There are 3 bathrooms and we were given 1 roll of 2 ply toilet roll per bathroom for whole week when I called reception to ask if I could collect a couple more I was asked if I didn't realise I was in self catering! The housekeeping staff and the gentlemen who checked the hot tub were lovely. All in all NOT DE LUXE!! Very disappointed for the money I paid!

On the whole we like this place. The setting is hard to beat. We don't play golf but the course looks well maintained. Sadly the changing room (and toilet) is unwelcoming and has an air of unkemptness about it. We have never stayed in any of the lodges but from what we have seen from the outside we would certainly consider it. We are frequent visitors to the bar. The bar is what this review is about and it will not be a positive review. The service is woeful. The bar area is full of dirty glasses, and the last time it was also covered in spilt drink that no one could be bother to wipe up. The outside area is a great disappointment yet again. No one ever clears away dirty plates or empty glasses. When staff bring out food they don't think to clear away another table whilst they are out there. The sight beholden to visitors is not a welcoming one and not does it promote an air of quality. I have seen better run inner city pubs. I suspect the bar and restaurant are either understaffed or poorly managed by the boss. Often there are queues at the bar, they run out of glasses and sometimes it has been known for them not to have the drink I ask for despite it being included in their drinks menu. Come on KP get your act together or we won't return.

Totally enjoyed our 4 night stay at this resort, the lodge was the pocklington deluxe, very spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was maintained daily, and the temperature was perfect not too hot, just warm enough to chill I’d definitely recommend the bar and the Glasshouse for a visit, very relaxing environment, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just like to finish off by saying me and the wife will definitely be back

Stayed for one night on Sunday before the bank holiday in one of the pods. Room was fine, plenty of room and the bathroom was very large. Bed and pillows really hard though, probably the hardest ever. Had to wait nearly 10 minutes at the reception desk will the receptionist finished what looked like a McDonald’s even though we had pressed the bell and she could see us through an open door. What really spoiled it was returning for 9:00 so we could get a nightcap in the bar to be told they had just closed. I said thought it was 10:30 closing and was told “well it is a bank holiday after all”. No signs up to indicate this and was not told at check-in. Looked like members of staff were sat having drinks though. Very poor service.

The staff were excellent, the accommodation (Hotel Pods) were first class and the food was awesome. We will be back. It was also a bonus to have the bar open late. The course was in good condition although very dry and the only negative, it's a real shame there is one, from the weekend was having to dodge range balls on the 16th and sometimes 18th fairways.
