A great comfortable hotel with everything necessary, bed generally super. There is a workplace, the Internet is good. It was really comfortable, unexpectedly better than on the photo. Enabled early settlement. Air conditioner, fan, hot water, safe. I didn't like · The feeling of the strict is just, the requirement to pay in dollars (but accept cards), demanded a vaccination certificate (this January 2023, when all canceled as 2 months), on the doors of the inscription that it is impossible to bring guests. After a bunch of kind gestahouses it seemed to be too serious. The area is a little strange, lots of homeless. , but walked even at night, it was okay. Overall quiet, but if someone in the corridor starts talking then noisy, staff better behave quietly, especially in the morning

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay.
One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere.
The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day.
However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times.

Stayed in the hotel together with my son from 25.01.2024 to 28.01.2024 They were pleasantly surprised by the modern interior and purity of the hotel, as well as the kindness of the staff. Very beautiful lobby with live music every evening! A fantastic restaurant with a magnificent Swedish table for dinner, where you can try both fresh seafood and national cuisine. A very pleasant open pool on the 6th floor, where you can enjoy both the ocean view and the city. Spacious modern rooms. Special thanks to the charming girl Darje - the guests' manager. Thank you for professionalism, for kindness, for the ability to solve all guest issues quickly and clearly, and also for the interesting communication! We will definitely return here again!

Granbell colombo is the most beautiful city hotel in colombo , It offer really japanese hospitality experience , foods are really tasty , Hotel has most beautiful infinity pool at roof top. That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . Stayed for five nights in total, breakfast was good. The pool is nice. Just a bit far. Gym does not provide water. Good service. But the room facilities are outdated. First night, there was blood on the towels. On the last night of my stay, at one o'clock in the morning, the tenants had a party in the room and in the aisle. The music was loud, dancing and chatting. It lasted for more than an hour. I made four calls to the front desk. I guess the hotel sent someone every time. I tried to stop it, but it didn't work at all. I didn't calm down until the fourth time. At that time, it was already two o'clock in the morning, and I didn't sleep all night.

OK Folks once upon time this used to be one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. That was decades ago, this is one of the very few Sri lankan government owned hotel today. This is not so luxurious to match a five star, but a pretty good hotel which fits in well for a three star. There are glitches here and there, it's an old building, you might find the hot water not working or a broken switch, pardon that, the hotel is working very hard to fix those with the little financial resources they have. The staff of the hotel are very kind and hard working. If you request them for something, they will not hesitate to try there best to satisfy your needs. The hotel has undergone a renovation recently and working hard to maintain a good menu of food. Again people are good and hard working but with the financial resources they have, there are limitations. Overall its a good 3 star hotel with a decent menu of food and really polite people. Help them by reserving your rooms with this little place which has a big history, the more guest who visit this place, the more money they get, so they can serve you better the next time your arrive. Be kind when making your reviews, try to look through the eyes of good people here who are trying to make your stay the best ever. Let encourage more people to use thus hotel so they can soon start to cater you with five star perfection.
