The hotel impresses with modern rooms, two indoor onsens, and a convenient location near ski resort and hot springs. Guests enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast and praised the friendly staff.

We initially couldn't secure rooms with en-suite bathrooms, but we were pleasantly surprised by how clean both the shared bathrooms and rooms were. The onsen was a delightful feature, offering both indoor and outdoor baths. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is very convenient—just a short walk to Nozawa Onsen town and close to the ski park. We had such a great time and will definitely be returning!

The location is very good. It takes only one minute to get to the nearby recreation center and ten minutes to walk to the entrance of the ski resort. The room is unexpectedly good and the breakfast is also good. The most important thing is that Nozawa Ski Resort is really great, more comfortable than Hakuba.

The room I booked was a futon, Japanese style (you have to make your own mattress) Staying for 1 night during New Year is expensive. There is no bathroom or private shower room. The building looks a bit old. If you wake up late at night to use the bathroom, it will be a bit scary 😩 👍There is 1 pitcher of water provided.

The hotel's breakfast is delicious and the service is also very good. However, travelers with large luggage should be careful to book a budget room in this hotel...! )

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. There was an onsen in our room but the public onsen of the hotel was even better. The hotel served Japanese breakfast and dinner. The hotel was very close to the ski resort. The staff were polite and helpful.

Booked this hotel for two reasons. Had an outside Onsen and close to Yu Road ( travelator ) to ski slopes. Good Choice! Breakfast was the traditonal Japanese breakfast. All prepared when you arrive for breakfast. Multiple bowls of this and that, plenty to eat. Room very modern with a very new bathroom, actually with a shower and not a bath. Onsens ( 2 ) switch between male and female at 6pm. One is a smaller wooden type , whilst the other is more like a rock pool area and a bit more walking to get too. Also two different indoor Onsens as well. Yes I would stay there again.

I booked a special room and told them a few days before that if a Japanese-style room was available on the day, I would like to change the room, but I didn't hear anything from them until the day itself. I thought, "Well, I guess that can't be helped," but when I checked in on the day, they explained that they had changed the room because a Japanese-style room was available. Since I had asked them, I thought I would just leave my luggage in the room and enjoy myself, but what about the price? If you change the room, there will be a price difference, right?? However, the front desk didn't say anything when I checked in, so I didn't want to stay there without asking, so I called the intercom to confirm the price, and they said, "It will be XX yen," and there was indeed a difference! Even so, there was no explanation, and they wouldn't say anything unless the customer asked???? Furthermore, (this may be the same for other customers, so it's subjective), I told them in advance about the ingredients I have allergies to and if they could substitute them, but there was no explanation about this either. Furthermore, when we sat down, one person was given two servings of sashimi, and the other was given sashimi konnyaku instead. Huh...there was no explanation of the seating arrangement...are the two people who went together getting different meals?? Or was it an allergy?? Even so, aren't two servings of sashimi and sashimi konnyaku completely different in appearance and unit price??? The price of the accommodation and the food were somehow frustrating, instead of being fun. It was a memorable year's trip for the couple. Furthermore, at night, the inn delivered cold water to each room by pitcher as a service. The cold water was written to be delicious in the reviews, and since I was thirsty after taking a bath in the hot spring, I emptied it in no time and asked if I could have another pitcher??? I called the intercom and was told that I could get the same water if I turned on the tap in my room!! . .?? I was told to drink tap water without ice! I was shocked and hung up the phone, but I wonder how the staff was trained__... Although it is a highly rated inn, I never want to go there again.
