The service at the front desk were terrible.
We had book a room with seaview but did not get that one. Even if there were rooms available with seaview we were not offered to have it and then sort out the booking system even though I hade a copy of my booking from the service provider.
This is a really bad experience

Excellent hotel, facilities, food, rooms and spa. Large spacious rooms, kept clean and tidy daily by the wonderful cleaning team. Shampoo, Conditioner and shower gel provided in the room. TV which you can cast to as there is not many English channels to entertain the kids whilst resting before the evening. Lazy mornings, lie ins, and absolutely no rush for the Sunbeds in the morning, towels down at 10.30am before breakfast and plenty of beds left. Good selection of food with enough variety for everyone even our fussy kids. No pushy entertainment team trying to get you to join in with activities. Good evening entertainment, late starts on the kids Discos but this wasn’t a problem as you would be well rested during the day. This was a hotel that had mainly spanish people spending their vacation there. Hence why not many of the staff spoke English, but we got by enough to communicate. It was a nice atmosphere , family friendly. Private boardwalk all the way to the stunning beach, which had out of this world sunsets… local shops just 10minutes away through the hotel grounds if you want a change. Wonderful Spa on site, we had a deep tissue massage whilst there and it was amazing. This was one of the best hotels we’ve been to and would definitely return with no hesitation.

If you have a young family, this hotel is for you. If you don’t have a young family and you’re ok with loud children that continues beyond 11pm, then this is a hotel for you. Anyone else, I would recommend seeking another hotel. The majority of the staff are wonderful! So welcoming and warm. They work so hard and the food is wonderful. Never a complaint with the food and drinks! It’s just a shame the hotel was too loud. I appreciate children need to have fun but this hotel is designed for children and therefore VERY loud! Amazing for children but it’s not for me. Another complaint: The air con doesn’t work very well, in the room. Never feels cool/cold. Also, I’d recommend booking a room closer to the sea. Our room was next to the evening entertainment and the terrace leads onto the pool. I would avoid these rooms if you want an early night (pre midnight). There is no sound proofing. It was like the band and crowd were in our room. Even after the band finishes, the guests continue to drink outside on the terrace literally next to our room. On a positive, the sea views were phenomenal. The beach was glorious. The food and drinks were amazing. The hotel was incredibly clean. It was close to being a perfect holiday, had it not been for the noise.

Disappointing Changes – No Longer Family-Friendly pool area Iberostar used to be a fantastic destination for a family holiday. On previous visits, the children’s pool area was open, fun, and thoughtfully designed, allowing parents to comfortably supervise their children without any visual restrictions. It was a place where kids could enjoy themselves freely, and parents could relax in confidence. Unfortunately, our current stay is a letdown. The entire pool area is now surrounded by unsightly and dirty fences, blocking the view of the children's play/pool area. What was once a bright, open space now feels claustrophobic. Worse still, the bounce area of the pool now has a limit of 10 children, which is a huge inconvenience to all. Previously, kids could easily move between the pool zones with just a few steps, but now they have to walk all the way around fenced-off areas to reach other parts of the pool — a frustrating and unnecessary change. Overall, the once-great family-friendly atmosphere has been lost. The fences have made the pool area difficult to navigate, less enjoyable for the children, and stressful for parents. It’s disappointing to see how quickly the quality of the amenities of the hotel has declined. I truly feel sorry for the kids who came here expecting fun and freedom, only to be met with fences and frustration.

Came for half term to relax and recharge and this is the place to do it. Having stayed in other Iberostar Waves resorts we had quite high expectations and understanding of how these resorts work. Staff at reception were spot on when checking in and able to answer our questions. I see people moaning about the €20 deposit for towels, don’t know why as you get it back at the end of your holiday and the towels can be changed daily. Room was nice, clean, tidy and air conditioning worked well. USB plugs in the sockets makes things easier. Pool areas (it’s split with two pools). One with the children’s pool and one a little more relaxed. Plenty of sun beds and parasoles to go around. However there are some rather over zealous lifeguards who want to put warnings on sunbeds for leaving them unattended, even when we were in the pool. I used the gym four times, it’s a decent size with both cardio and free weights. Can’t complain. Food was nice of an evening time if not a little repetitive. Staff were helpful. Only complain about dinner was you cannot serve your own drinks like other Iberostar resorts. It can take a while to get a drink. Beach a two minute walk down the walkway to a nice beach. All in all a lovely place and we’ll be back.
