Located in a very beautiful place and all staffs are super kind and helpful. The food choice was a bit limited but acceptable considering the location (island). Strongly recommend to stay there for a family vacation.

ABANDONED BY THE HOTEL. FRUSTRATION. Booking a 5-star Hilton hotel only to be completely abandoned. Terrible experience and service before, during, and after.
The hotel is located on a private island, with access ONLY via its own transportation—a hotel-operated boat.
When we made the reservation (November 2024), we provided our contact details and arrival schedule to receive instructions from the hotel. THEY NEVER RESPONDED.
We followed up 10 times in the 30 hours prior to our arrival, requesting any kind of response. THEY NEVER RESPONDED.
We reached out via email, phone, and the reservation management platform. THEY NEVER RESPONDED.
We lost our flight from Sydney to New Caledonia and our accommodation, as we were supposed to arrive on an island with only one flight per week and had no confirmation of access to the hotel we had booked.
Today, three months later (February 2025), we have repeatedly reported the hotel's lack of professionalism to Hilton, yet neither Hilton nor the hotel have apologized for abandoning us.
This has been the worst and most incomprehensible experience I have ever had as a travel journalist, a profession that requires me to travel extensively throughout the year.

The free boat transfer and luggage transportation to the room were all very smooth.
The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was very hygienic, which was to be expected.

The sea is very beautiful. The coral reef spreads out a little offshore from the water villa, and I think it is very good for snorkeling.
However, the service is a little disappointing.
No matter how many times I called to confirm the shuttle boat before the trip, no one answered.
When I contacted the US customer service of Hilton, I was first told that I could take a taxi, which was a completely nonsensical answer, and that I should call the local area because the email address was not published.
In the end, I was able to reserve the boat by getting an email address from Trip.com customer service and emailing them several times.
At the local area, there were people who were waiting for hours without being able to get on the boat.
Also, the staff are too much professional and seem to only do their own work.
One day, the room was not cleaned, and when I called, the person on the care line only said that they would contact the cleaning staff, and when I asked when they would be able to clean, they did not answer, so I had to go directly to the reception and negotiate. Cleaning was arranged immediately after that, but I felt that what was the point of the phone conversation.
Also, at restaurants, when I ask for water, it takes a long time to be brought. When I ask for a small plate at the bar, it takes a long time to be brought, so I have to go to the buffet area to get the plate. Is it because they don't do anything other than their own role, or are they forgetful?
