The clue is in the name – converted mill on the edge of the lake – lovely grounds with chickens and ducks pecking about. Rooms along the front on the ground floor had double doors opening directly into the grounds, so pet-friendly. Rooms themselves were nothing special – clean but a little tired. Restaurant is built over the mill race; food fine but nothing to write home about. Would use again for a one-night stopover.

Room was fine , but staff a bit remote in communication ( which was only in French )
Dinner was very average and certainly not good value for money.
So we have taken a different route and a different hotel on our journey back to the UK .

We stayed at this hotel about five years ago and it was good.
This time however we had friends with us and we had rooms 101 and 200. The shower in room 101 was broken and the water in both rooms was cold. It was not even possible to use the hand basins it was so cold.
It also states that breakfast is served until nine o’clock in the morning, however, at twenty past nine it was pretty evident that the staff wanted us out as they stood around the table trying to pressure us to leave.
The price we paid was 133 euros for these rooms each and not to have any hot water whatsoever is quite frankly disgusting. No apology given on complaining. We were just told it would be looked into. How any body can promote a hotel like this is quite frankly beyond me. I will not be staying here ever again and will certainly not be using ********** in future if I receive no satisfactory answer to my complaint.

Nous avions réservé depuis 2 mois sur booking 4 nuits. L’établissement s’est permis de nous annuler dernière minute la réservation sans raison aucune . C’est juste honteux … J’ai déjà du rappeler la personne plusieurs fois pour qu’elle m’envoie la proposition en direct . Étant donné que je n’avais toujours rien j’ai pris l’option booking et 2 mois après je me retrouve dans une situation compliquée en pleine période des championnats de France équestre donc imaginez le manque d’opportunités à cette époque ….

Nous y avons séjourné avec mes collègues cette semaine. L'accueil est très bien, le repas copieux, fait maison et frais. Les plats sont variés et très bien cuisinés. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Le lever de soleil sur l'étang en face le matin, est magnifique. Merci à vous pour votre accueil.

Hotel trés bien situé : calme et repos assuré : les chambres sont très confortables, la restauration très bonne avec des produits frais. Le cadre super agréable et reposant. Les responsables trés accueillants et à l'écoute : un séjour au top et à refaire.

Ce fut certainement mieux ... Avant !! Pour une demeure dite de charme : - Fils électriques en vrac - Placard de la lingerie à la vue de tous - Désordre et dégradation de l'espace extérieur - Repas très médiocre Déclin d'un établissement qui fut !!

Pour un hotel 3 étoiles c’est tout à fait correct avec des chambres modernes dans un cadre magnifique et au calme près d’un étang. Par contre il est dommage que le jardin manque totalement d’entretien. L’accueil est agréable. Mais il y a un très gros mais, il faut absolument qu’ils changent de Chef de cuisine car ce n’est pas bon du tout et très cher, même pas capable de cuire correctement des frites et servir cela à un prix très élevé c’est scandaleux. Je ne retournerai jamais dans cet hotel et je le déconseille.

Dans un cadre bucolique et calme, au milieu de la Sologne, ce moulin de 1850 nous a accueilli avec toutes les commodités actuelles. Une très bonne cuisine et ses spécialités régionales.
