Firstly, we paid extra for an 11am check in. We arrived at midday and our room was not ready, so we waited in the bar for 20 -30 minutes until the receptionist came to tell us the room was available. We also paid extra for a Premier Plus room which was no bigger than a standard room. We discovered that our duvet cover was stained, we had no bottled water or sweet treats (whatever they were!) only 4 coffee pods, we asked for more and we were told that they would be brought to our room, but they never arrived. The view from our room was very disappointing overlooking a flat roof and resembling an unfinished building site. the lift doors had graffiti on the inside. Overall, a very very disappointing experience. After more than ten years as a loyal customer it is unlikely that we will use Premier Inn again.
