Haven’t paid out to retail investors with so called guaranteed exit plan after 10 years yet still trying to attract new investors. Still trying to find finance to complete what they started a long time ago. Always happy news but no returns for many investors. I’d recommend nobody stay here

Do not trust anything at this chateau. We have paid a lot of money but you can not reach them by phone or by email. We paid a lot of money for a voucher but can not book anything. Stephanie penot and Gaël Nadaud shoul be ashamed of themselves. Alex Jansen (The Netherlands)

I invested in one of the properties on the resort in 2022. While the construction is ongoing, I choose to holiday in the Chateau. Beautiful grounds, kind people and excellent service. Not to mention the fact that my investment is going well too!

Our family visited Chateau de la Cazine in late 2024 to celebrate my birthday. It was a much needed break from city life. The Chateau is stunning and you are surrounded by nature. Despite the language barrier, the staff made us feel like royalty and I'm sure we will remember this break for many, many years! Look forward to returning.

The hotel is connected with an awful property development company called Halcyon Developments. Please do not invest with them. We are years trying to get all our money back from them and have had nothing but promises and excuses. We still waiting on interest for the last 6 months to be paid also. Read reviews carefully

An update on my last review! My money has still not been returned! I'm now lodging a formal complaint witb the UK FOS. Im approaching six years since I invested and they still haven't repaid all my finvestment! The last Six months has been nothing but false promises and expired deadlines. They've told me it's my fault for not being repaid, as (thankfully) people are seeing my posting and wisely choosing not to invest and therefore they don't have the money to repay me! Six years later! Even though this is not in my interpretation I really do not want to see people going through what I've been through!

Please DO NOT STAY in this hotel, they should be ashamed of themselves. The company Halycon Development based in Wales are developing this estate including building the apartment and houses. We invested years ago and are still waiting to get all out money back. We're still waiting for over 28K to be repaid to us after investing 6 years ago. We are also owed the 20% they promise to pay you too. They tell you the investment is guaranteed but our experience has been when you try get your money back, they then cant repay you . They also don't tell you their 5 year repayment period starts only when the property is fully built and then take years to complete the buildings. Based in other reviews we've seen, we are not the only ones. They have caused us years of stress and upset 😩 My advice is to avoid them .

We booked the Halcyon Estate for a weeklong celebration with the entire family in August and we all had the most amazing stay. The chateau and grounds were stunning and the staff went above and beyond to help us organise an incredible stay. It was a wonderful suprise for my dad and he especially loved fishing on the lake. Wish we could do it all again! The best summer ever.

Please NEVER Stay in this hotel.. This hotel should be ashamed of themselves. The company Halcyon Developments who are develping the house and golf course on the hotel grounds are not repaying investors who each invested tens of thousands in buying. Years later the momey is not repaid and nothing but false promises. Please nev do not invest with this company!! Years later the properties are not completed. They will not return you capital until the building is complete and as they cannot complete them will not give you back you investment. They can't even pay the interest due any longer. They tell you if you publish a negative review they're lawyers will be on you.
