Villa Valiha Boutique Hotel

We stayed at Villa Valiha for 10 nights. The hotel has a fantastic location directly on the sea, and is very typical and characteristic. We had full board, the cuisine is also typical, mainly rice, fish and vegetables, all very good and well cooked. Too bad for the breakfast, really poor and embarrassing for such a structure. The savory breakfast is non-existent unless paid for (€3 for an egg). The hotel overall is perfect, charming and we recommend it. From the hotel you can watch the most beautiful sunset ever seen every evening. We did not like the behavior of the director Roberta at all, unprofessional, not very attentive to customer needs, and rude in some situations. Besides the fact that we had booked a room with air conditioning that didn't exist.

Two weeks ago I was right there at Villa Valiha. I could write for at least an hour but I don't think that's the case. I can only say that 2 hours after my arrival I already felt at home. This is thanks to the typically Malagasy atmosphere that can be felt but above all thanks to the staff of this Villa from times gone by. If you are looking for a 4-star hotel with pharaonic continental buffets for meals, forget it...if you want the perfect shower drain...forget it...if you want the latest generation split that also dries you the clothes... forget it! If instead you want the essentials, a family welcome but with professionalism, this is your place....Thanks not only to Roberta, the high-level Director but also to all the staff made up of willing and genuine young people and to Danilo and Sara who organize truly high level excursions! I went on vacation to this wonderful resort because I know Roberta the owner, it's not the first time I've gone to Madagascar and I must say that I really liked the location, it offers a long beach where you can take beautiful walks with breathtaking views, all 'inside a lot of attention to detail, friendly staff and always available excellent food with fruit always available. Roberta is a fantastic woman who is friendly and always smiling. Veluma villa Valiha I will be back soon!❤

Premessa: viaggio con frequenza, sono stato già in Africa diverse volte e ho dormito in posti semplici per pochi euro. Per diverse notti/mattine l'acqua non era disponibile. Esposto il problema alla direttrice dell'hotel siamo stati inizialmente dribblati. Insistendo, nei giorni successivi, ci ha risposto (guardandoci seccata sul lettino a prendere il sole) che tutta Nosy Be fosse senza acqua facendoci anche la morale sui bambini dell'isola in difficoltà. Accertato che la scusa non fosse reale, in quanto degli amici all'hotel limitrofo non avevano gli stessi problemi e in considerazione che l'alloggio ha costi piuttosto elevati, reputo l'accaduto inaccettabile. Stranamente avvertendo il personale della mancanza di acqua (in qualsiasi ora) ci veniva detto di attendere 5 minuti e, puntualmente, il problema si risolveva (essenzialmente l'acqua veniva riattaccata). Siccome il problema non si manifestava ai piani inferiori, abbiamo chiesto di essere spostati a piano terra. Maleducamente ci è stato detto si, tuttavia ci sono state proposte camere di livello inferiore alla nostra (quindi un downgrade) che chiaramente non abbiamo accettato. Il letto era inoltre sporco (foto allegate), shampoo non fornito e per lavarsi saponette del discount (ho avuto trattamenti superiori in hotel da pochi euro). Tassa di soggiorno applicata senza avviso, pagamento con POS solo in aryary (in prenotazione si parla anche di euro) con sovrattassa del 4% (segnalato) e con cambio sfavorevole (1 a 4500 vs 1 a 5000 reale).
