Marina Hotel, Ambatoloaka, Nosy Be Even a five-star palace has a few little flaws, so for the very affordable price of a night at Hotel Marina in Ambatoloaka – Nosy Be, you can rest assured that, like most guests, you’ll only remember the good stuff — and there’s plenty of it! First of all: cleanliness! Absolutely spotless. Don’t be surprised if you see both the staff and even some guests walking barefoot across the shiny tiled floors! The room, the bathroom, the brightly colored bed linens (changed every two days, along with the towels) — everything is pristine. I stayed in Room 8 on the second floor: a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean and sunsets that are simply out of this world! The owner, Mr. Christian, and, I believe, the front desk manager — a stunning young lady named Didi — are kindness itself. They greet you and help you with genuine smiles straight from the heart. Take my word for it — you’ll love it!
