my partner and I stayed here for a week. The location is good and the views are amazing. People are friendly. What surprised me is that the breakfast was not included in the price and to be honest 7,5 euros per person for breakfast is too much, especially what's offered and knowing that if you take breakfast in a local cafe you might pay 3 or 4 per person. The hotel needs urgent maintenance. We had a safe in the room that we could not use as it was not working.

A hotel in its original state, even dilapidated, but very large room. a scary parking lot but with electric charging. no glass in the bathroom and the shower is extremely damaged, but terrace with sea view. Very average hotel environment, but the reception is large and, strangely on the 4th floor but the staff is super friendly.

The hotel is no longer new, but the rooms are spacious and relatively well maintained. It has a covered garage. It has a free coffee machine in the reception area and has a fantastic view over Setúbal. For the price it is quite reasonable.

Very old hotel to be completely renovated. Very large but old rooms and the bathrooms are better not to mention, poor cleaning, nothing in the bathroom has been changed in 30 years (broken, deteriorated and old). Scarce staff, don't get up early because the receptionist is preparing breakfast. I had been before and it was not bad but with the change of owners it got worse. Not recommendable

We booked the hotel twice during our trip to Portugal as an overnight stop. One positive thing to mention is the friendly staff at reception, who are very young and try very hard to give a professional impression. The location of the hotel is of course great, with a wonderful view of the city and the sea from the terrace. However, there was no "waiter service" on the outside terrace. We were influenced by the photos on TripAdvisor. These are mostly professional photos, which of course do not show any unsightly details. The first and our second rooms were very worn and the bathroom in particular was borderline disgusting. Mold, worn soap dispensers, clearly visible water damage on the ceiling, broken fittings..... And more. The rooms are also VERY! thinly soundproof!!! If someone walks upstairs or a door closes somewhere in the hallway (unfortunately it is not possible to close it quietly either) you sit upright in bed. The balcony door in both rooms could not be locked. The bathroom door also didn't close any further, it had to be left open about 15cm (privacy?!) The beds were relatively comfortable. The hotel definitely has more potential. We wouldn't recommend it, even though it is relatively cheap.

Large bed and comfortable large room with bad smelling curtains, friendly staff, I was stuck in the lift, room redone after 3 days it was a suite. Good breakfast. The hotel is wonderful as a structure but it is completely disused, it seems that they are waiting for a new buyer to renovate it completely. In fact the kitchen is abandoned, used only for breakfast, restaurant with spectacular room and panoramic terrace practically abandoned in disrepair. Non-existent bar, they put a free 24 hour coffee machine in the Lobby.... Extremely serious that they forced me to pay for 8 nights immediately by credit card before seeing the room, in fact after 2 days I would have left but they would not have refunded me ....... No hotel in my life has asked me for advance payment at Check in for 8 nights, it can happen for just one night. I don't recommend going if it isn't renovated.

Terrible experience: -service leaves much to be desired -pillowcases do not cover the entire hotel -dirty corridors full of cobwebs -lack of cleanliness and care throughout the hotel -does not live up to the four stars it presents - Wi-Fi no connection -LOTS OF NOISE ALL NIGHT

Spacious rooms, however the infrastructure is very old and in my opinion it would be a 3 star hotel and not a 4. Lots of noise, no insulation or AC, the hotel is not modern. However, it is well located, and has a fantastic view, some work could be done to improve it.

I tried to do this review on Google in March 2022, but it never made it to the public. We arrived at room 314 and I felt like something was missing. The room is spacious, yes, but it lacks decoration and life. There's no reason to complain, obviously. I open the curtains and the view is beautiful and we have a balcony! I loved! Except when I looked and there wasn't even a table. Only the dried out chairs need to be replaced. I go back inside and start to notice the amount of dust. They only clean where you can see it and even then they leave a lot to be desired. Dust on the frames, mirrors, TV, balls of dust could be seen under the bed and the worst part was the AC filter. Nowhere is it acceptable for a filter that is black to be completely brownish grey, where the dust drags to the ceiling. There was dust stuck to the ceiling, eh. Hair, fur, cobwebs… Really Bad. We spoke to the general manager, he changed our room and that it was going to be cleaned from top to bottom. They told us that he himself was inspecting the room with the housekeeper, to ensure that everything was in working order. The dust lamp is for both 314 and 315. But the dry contact lens is from the new room that was supposedly cleaned and disinfected. It was behind the cushions. If I had known, I would have taken photos of the previous room, so they wouldn't think I was exaggerating. DO NOT ADMIT IT! Regardless of the price you pay, cleanliness must be guaranteed! It's like in common areas! We arrived at 12:30 and there was a glass of coffee next to the alcohol gel in the elevator on the reception/bar floor. It was 6:30 pm and there was the cup. The super dirty hallway. Dust, stains, pieces of baseboard scattered around... The project has so much potential that it's a shame the lack of maintenance. The degradation is super visible and there are no signs of renovations. We won't even try breakfast. With so many bad reviews, I prefer to eat out. There are no amenities in the bathroom. Unless towels and toilet paper count as such. The only nice person was a girl at reception who let me know she was an intern. Shout out to her! Mistakes we all make. But for them to repeat the same thing, right after being called to attention, is horrible. It is said that the worst customers are hoteliers. We are only the worst, because at least we want the least of the least. Cleanliness, friendliness and amenities. If it weren't for the lack of cleanliness, friendliness and awareness, I wouldn't even have done this review. We would simply give feedback to the GM and leave it at that. After all this, we are going to sleep because the room has already been paid for and we are not in a position to travel 80km. I hope they improve, take advantage of their true potential and turn things around. Because from the comments I've seen, it's going to be difficult.
