Very convenient for the city centre. The independent cafes & restaurants of St Benedicts are very close. WiFi isn't great, but the hotel is clean, warm and well soundproofed. You don't really use a Premier Inn for more than sleeping and this is fine. Duke St car park is next door for an additional charge

Absolutely awful, worst hotel we ever stayed in, £161 for a Tuesday evening! we have 2 small children and the hotel in general and the room was dirty, and we were given a room with no air conditioning! This was never told to us before we arrived! It was roasting hot and we could barely sleep all night, not very useful considering we were going on holiday the night day. Absolutely dreadful experience and the staff were incredibly unhelpful!

I stay at Premier Inns regularly for work and the Norwich City Centre (Duke Street) location stands out every time thanks to the outstanding hospitality from Sarah. From the moment I walk through the door, she greets me with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that instantly lifts my day. Her ability to remember guests and welcome me by name makes the experience feel so personal, like a home from home. Sarah consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and valued. Nothing is ever too much trouble and her friendly, approachable manner sets the tone for the entire stay. It’s rare to come across someone so naturally suited to hospitality; she’s a true professional with a heart for people. Sarah is an incredible asset to Premier Inn.

The room was really hot, and walking in to 3 fans in my room was appreciated. Customer service in the evenings was top notch. Sarah, Peter and Angel sought to help out in any way, and offered a smile throughout. They really made this experience great. However, when trying to get an iron in the morning, I waited at the front desk for approx 10 minutes ringing the bell for assistance and getting no response. This was just before 8am and I had to be in a meeting at 8:30. I was disappointed to see a staff member come into their shift and tell a man out the back that people were waiting. Especially at this time in the morning, when most have to leave for work. The parking is charged and not affiliated with premier inn, however it would be a nice touch if they could validate parking as I spent £26 over my 2 nights. My room was particularly close to the road, which was loud, and the heat left no option other than to have a window open. The customer service from the 3 employees above would tempt me to stay again, but this does need consistency.

The Service at reception and in the restaurant from Kyra and Emily was brilliant, super customer care and attention to detail. My Prem plus room was really great and the meal deal is really good value. Looking forward to Breakfast in the morning and another cold Peroni ! Many thanks again Kyra and Emily

Checking in was easy and the staff member made it pleasant. The bed was comfortable but it was impossible to sleep well because the room was so hot. The room was clean but very shabby and dated. We had the room serviced once on our stay and it was done very well. Breakfast was good value.

I've stayed in a few Premier Inns over time and it was as you would expect. The difference here, however, was the great service from the staff. I'd like to mention Sarah for her friendliness and professional manner on reception along with Shiv, the chef for a lovely evening meal! The second evening of my stay was similar. Great service from both Tracey and Peter on reception and in the bar/restaurant. Thanks 😊

I stay in Premier inns a lot and one of the things I appreciate is that it is consistent. Unfortunately, this is a premier inn that time has forgotten. No air conditioning in the rooms (unless you want to pay for a "Premier plus" room). The temperature is in the high 20s so I was supplied with two old fashioned tower fans - both of which regularly tripped and didn't really make a big difference to the room temperature. The free WiFi is deliberately terrible to encourage you to pay £5 for 24hours of WiFi. The beds were pushed together to make a double (not unusual) but the latch to keep them together was broken so they drifted apart in the night which is really unsafe. And there was not mattress topper so the middle was uncomfortable. In addition, the mattress on one side was completely collapsed.
