Beds too high off the floor and the rooms were so hot they were unbearable. Fans were provided but they were completely ineffectual unlike the beautifuly air conditioned reception areas. Staff were pleasant and friendly but won't stay again due to the excessive heat in the rooms. Not a pleasant stay for that reason only.

Stuffy room with no ability to cool down or even open windows in the heat. Peeling paint on walls, no wheelchair or elevator access to upper floors, terrible information from staff. Everything is cheap and exceedingly stingy. First and last stay at a Premier Inn. This particular branch is effectively a service stop near the motorway. Convenient if you want to cook to death in a room during the summer.

In a heat wave room temp was a steady 28*c. Unable to open window more than a few inches due to security locks and insect screens . Fan provided to circulate hot air. Much cooler in corridors, reception areas and outside. Tap water had a tainted taste and bathroom smelled of drains. Sadly Not the usual standard of a premier inn.

Good price, good location for us. Friendly staff. maintenance lacking - reading lights in room both broken and cubicle door in gents loo in restaurant had no lock so would not stay closed.

Stay here often for work. Comfortable and clean, the Beef Eater restaurant is one of the best I’ve eaten at and all of the staff are wonderful. Over many visits I’ve become friends with all of the reception staff and can always rely on Louise Porter go above and beyond to make my stay go smoothly! Even when I’d forgotten to book a room and couldn’t get my phone to work! Louise booked me a room online and saved the day! Thank you Lou!

Superbly comfortable bed - the best bit about Premier Inns without a doubt. Also quiet location and ample free car parking. So it was a shame about the generally tired feeling of the hotel itself. Specifically: although bath, toilet, basin and bed were all spotless, the hotel as a whole needs a deep clean; the bedrooms need USB/C charging points; the side of the bath is too high with no grab rails - would be better with walk in shower; and the bedrooms need air con - we sweltered in the heat overnight. A notice in reception saying we could ask for the duvet to be swapped for a sheet was somewhat inadequate!

Certainly doesn’t do what it says on the adverts!! The room was absolutely stifling, thick duvet on the bed and definitely not fluffy pillows. No air conditioning, but there was in reception!!The fan provided couldn’t blow a piece of paper , I asked for another which they gave , that made an awful noise, so no definitely not as guaranteed a good nights sleep Also the postcode doesn’t take you to the location, which the receptionist knew about, put it on your website then!!! Couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi either.

I have stayed at several Premier Inns but this is by far the best. The rooms are a good size and everything is clean and seems up to date. The reception staff were super helpful. Really a very pleasant experience.

Unfortunately the hotel is suffering with fatigue. The serious lack of basic internet connectivity and USB / C charging points is worrying, as these should be quite easily rectified. They do post a warning on their booking site about the lack of services, so I hope the Group are working on an upgrade, as most of their sites are in far better condition.
