Lovely place to stay, nice spacious room. Food in the restaurant was delicious as was breakfast. Lovely friendly and accommodating staff. Only downside is the freight trains passing through the night. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Moto GP Silverstone . What a fantastic place. If you are going to Silverstone you won’t get a better place to stay. Secure parking at the back of the pub for your bike, ten minutes from the circuit and super friendly staff. The food was excellent, best I’ve eaten in years of travel around the World let alone the UK. A gem of a place.

The Walnut Tree Inn is a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the large, tastefully furnished, room and bathroom and the food in the bar was very good. The two negative points would be the train noise every 15-30 until late into the evening and the sink in the bathroom was too shallow to actually wash in.

We visited The Walnut Tree Inn for Mother’s Day lunch, this is a go to place for us as we have always received good service. The staff are always extremely friendly and attentive, the quality of the food is exceptional, as well as there being a good choice of drinks. If you haven’t tried this place yet, do give it a go!

We stayed here for a function,but opted for an extra night and really glad we did. It gave us a chance to chill out in the lovely room and also have some lovely walks along the canal. One of which was an evening stroll to Blisworth. The staff were super helpful, breakfast was lovely and included, it was really easy to get to too. Well done you! Ps if you don't like trains, ask to be on the car park side... But to be honest I thought they added to the charm

Brief history overnight stay Comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children which met our expectations. Unfortunately we arrived late and left early so it was only a brief visit but what we did experience (bar, bed and breakfast) was all very good! In fact breakfast was very, very good!! It was a shame we missed the restaurant as the menu looked delicious, the staff at the hotel suggested alternatives (local pizza delivery service) but at that stage after a long drive we were just happy to have a drink and some bar snacks (crisps) before getting an early(ish) night for the following days!

Close and comfortable Booked The Walnut Grove as a one night stay while visiting the area for a family funeral. The location was nice and close by the venue . Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast very good. The staff were friendly and polite. Would stay again should we return to the area.
