The desk staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast staff were not friendly, and couldn’t manage to keep the coffee and milk and cream pitchers filled. The hot breakfast food was poor, but the cold items were just fine and there was a good variety.

Second time I have stayed here and it is a great option if you want to be convenient to both Amherst and Northampton (or even South Hadley) as it's in the middle of everything. Easy drive to all the 5 colleges/towns. Plenty of free parking and you can even catch the PVTA right next to the hotel if you don't want to drive around. Room was huge, modern and well-maintained. We also were happy to be able to do laundry here (reasonably priced coin-op including detergent, change available at front desk), a nice perk when on a road trip. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn, with a good selection of waffles, bagels, fresh fruit etc. Common areas were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. There's even an indoor pool and a gym. Good value for the money. We will always have this place in mind when visiting the area!
