Johannes the owner is very friendly and accommodating, trying to making you feel like home. The room very very clean, with a comfy double bed and nice view from the balcony. The room i was in didn't have a TV or wardrobe but that wasn't a problem at all for me. Breakfast is simple but tasteful. Hotel is safe as well as the surrounding area with nice local, cheap bars and restaurants close by. Had no problem with the conflicts in the outer/rural areas. Can book trips to the churches, monasteries or hikes for wonderful nature and views through the hotel (with mister Destaw from Lalibela adventure Tour, totally recommend).

Very nice staying in Lalibela. The hotel has spacious and clean rooms with good bathroom and hot shower. Position is central and not far from all the sightseeing spots. Good bkf and possibility to have dinner all arranged in the guest house. Yoahnnes takes care of everything. Mogis was a very good guide thorough the city and the outskirts. All perfect and well arranged. Highly recommended.
