Hotel Wroxham

Great location and a very nice hotel.We enjoyed a room upgrade on arrival.Dinner in the restaurant was excellent as was breakfast.Would happily stay there again

Fantastic hotel in a stunning location. We have stayed quite regularly recently and find the staff to be wonderful. All go above and beyond to make your stay with them perfect. I cannot praise them highly enough, thank you. The rooms overlooking the water are particularly stunning. Breakfast is included and always excellent. Looking forward to visiting again, hopefully very soon.

My partners daughter booked us a 1 night stay here for his birthday,and a table for Sunday lunch.on arriving we weren't sure if we were in the correct car park as there's no signs to say it was.check in 4 the room wasn't until 2pm and our table 4 lunch was 1pm so we had a drink in the bar first.therez a large seating area outside but only a small bar area so if weather is bad there wouldn't be many seats to sit in.we both choose Sunday roast 4 lunch,the farmers roast that you get a slice of all 3 meats,I have 2 be honest i couldnt taste the difference in them.overall the roast had a strange taste,I can't really put my finger on it,there was a lot of herbs especially rosemary on my plate I prefer potatoes etc..not covered in herbs.the cauliflowercheese was mushy..the desserts were lovely.we had few drinks on the terrace later and scones and cream which was lovely the room we had overlooked the side of the hotel..i didn't sleep very well in the bed,the bed itself was good but the pillows were awfull,the room was quite stuffy but I didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open.,couldnt fully turn off the shower and the radiator in the room clearly leaks as there was a tea towel wrapped round it which looked like it had been there a while.we didn't have breakfast before leaving as my partner had work commitments. Overall this hotel has a great location overlooking the river which definately makes it popular,there are a few things that could do with fixing here to make it an excellent hotel.

We always wanted to stay and have a balcony looking out at the boats cost £250 for 1 night stay . Stayed in wroxham suite . Nothing special only the views, the hot water tap ran cold all time in the basin. Breakfast was ok. Expected more for the money

The Sunday Lunch is second to none, delicious, great value and fantastic. The staff are mainly young and experinced, which sadly for them, results in the Hotel Manageress/Owner constantly belitting them regulary in public areas, which I have witnessed on numerous visits and probably accounts for the high turnover of staff.

Do not go here, I took my family here and the old lady presumably the owner was absolutely atrocious, raising her voice towards myself and my 2 small children. We had sat outside in an empty garden albeit eating some chips however my husband was in the bar area ordering drinks. She came to tell us how unacceptable it was that we had sat there and then said she was only shouting as she didn’t think I could understand her. Horrible experience left me in tears and embarrassed. Avoid at all costs. This person (I wouldn’t say lady) was actually vile, if your looking for a beautiful place to visit in the boards do not choose here, there are plenty of lovely family friendly options.

Hotel presented very nice, interior very well looked after with new carpets. Booked a superior room for 2 nights, very nice king size bed and all usual hotel features. The only complaint we had was that the room was extremely hot during August, somewhere between 30-32c according to the room fan which made it difficult to sleep. Bed was comfortable, large TV, shower was ok and included some good quality complimentry toiletries. Breakfast was included in price of room and was a pleasant experience, sitting outside next to the river. Breakfast was good quality and had plenty of choice, having both a buffet style area and cooked foods too. Located right next to all of the shops and boat yards with a train station nearby, it's a great way to explore the broads.

Absolutely amazing beautiful hotel with all special touches we all loved it. We've stayed many times this time we took family who loved everything about it. The hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for and believe me it was worth every penny. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We are there both nights the food was absolutely lovely and the staff great. Every room has its own style and decor to a very high standard. Well done hotel wroxham we can't wait to go back.

Nice Bar and restaurant. Rooms old and dated. No aircon?. The rooms are very old style and dated not worth the money. The shower in our room didn't work properly. The window won't stay open. The whole hotel doesn't have Air conditioning. In August 30 degrees not good. The bar is nice and restaurant food is good shame about the service at night. Ordered a bottle of wine got starter before wine asked where wine was got told by the waiter that it wasn't on the order so I asked the manager who took are order she said it was but still didn't get it for another 10 mins not good enough. On a whole would go back to bar and restaurant but wouldn't stay in hotel as old and overpriced.
