2-Star Hotels in North Little Rock

We got there in late afternoon and it is in a very sketchy area. There are sketchy people hanging around outside. But, we had a non-refundable reservation and it was just a place to crash on a road trip, so went ahead an checked in. He sent us to Room 225. We went up there and the sheets were all over the bed in a messy dirty pile and there was garbage on the table, so obviously that room was not cleaned. We went back to front desk, and he called someone and blessed them out for the room not being cleaned. He then assigned us Rm 226. We went up there and the bed was made, but did not look the freshest as the pillow were kind of balled up on one side of the bed. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in awhile and there was garbage still in the garbage can. We went ahead and stayed since it seemed all their rooms were gross and we were tired from out trip. We slept on top of some blankets we had in the car. Took a shower in the morning and the tub had mold/mildew all around the edges. Got out of there and was glad to leave. Did not even look at their ”breakfast” as it was likely unfit for consumption based on the rest of the motel.

Fantastic place to stay. Suite on 2nd floor was very spacious. Employees are so very nice and went above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. Breakfast room was nice and spacious as well and they provide a plethora of hot and cold options. Swimming pool is indoor and is warm and not freezing cold. The workout room has several options for cardio and weight lifting and the establishment is very clean. My new first choice to stay in the area.

The hotel is right by Interstate 40 so it makes traveling around pretty easy. There appears to be a lot of homeless individuals in the neighborhood and the parking spaces near the front door of the building was always filled so we had to park to the side which had me nervous that someone was going to either steal our catalytic converter (there’s been a lot of that happening I heard) or be robbed but the side parking lot was well lit but a distance from the door so if something happened the only way you could get into the building was through the front door which was about 10-11 feet away. The elevator kept being weird, when we made it to our floor it took it a bit to open and it did stutter or shake a little bit. The rooms were very clean and looked very good as pictured! I love the bathroom mirror it’s gorgeous though I wish the bathroom had a little bit more counter space. Also for some reason our air conditioner didn’t work (thank goodness our stay was during a cooler weekend) we tried to work the thermostat but it never cut on which was very annoying.The front desk staff were okay, nothing to write home about though. Honestly I say book this hotel if you’re staying a night or two and just need somewhere to lay your meat suit to recharge. If you have young kids then maybe choose somewhere else because the parking lot always smelled like the “devil’s lettuce” when we went out and there was broken liquor bottles in the parking lot. I would recommend this place for a quick getaway trip.

Beds were small and VERY HARD, did not sleep well at all. Hotel overall was clean and quiet. Check in staff was adequate, but seemed bothered that we were interrupting their day by checking in, check out staff was kind and friendly. Loretta (the woman taking care of breakfast) was AMAZING. I was grumpy after a crummy nights sleep on their hard mattresses and she managed to turn my attitude around. She was helpful, pleasant, cheerful, and accommodating. If all the hotel staff were like Loretta, I could have forgotten the crummy beds!

Stayed here for one night during the eclipse. The hotel was completely full. They did a great job. The room was clean and quit. It was small and sparsely furnished. The breakfast was good and even though the place was packed, they kept the hot fresh food coming. My only compliant was the price. Almost everyone jacked up the price for the eclipse. I paid over twice what the room was worth. I understand supply and demand but DAMN!!

Clean New room. “Wood-like” floors which I like, because they are easier to keep clean. Large refrigerator. Easy walk to Starbucks and Dollar General for snacks.

This is one of the better hotels in the area. It was very clean, great location, and I felt safe staying there with my children. The breakfast was very good. Overall had a great stay here. And would recommend it.
