Temple In The Woods was a very pleasant stay. I felt as if it was ny home. Clean, relaxing, peaceful home and environment. Total quiet..great place to meditate, regroup, and renew self. The Innkeeper has a beautiful and calming spirit. Gives you the space to just do you. Can't wait ti visit again!

From the early check in and Very Clean, Comfortable Suite Accommodations and Superb First-Class Delicious Breakfast !
Our Stay here left quite a impression on us and Claudette treated us like family !

This stay was a treat! My husband and I were traveling for work, and had the pleasure of staying with Colette. The house is impeccable , comfortable and so very clean! Fresh flowers in our room! Breakfast was savory and delicious! Colette is charming and so hospitable. We will return!

My husband and I just stayed at the temple in the woods and I can’t say enough about our stay. Claudette is the hostess with the mostest. She truly opens her home and heart up to you. I woke up this morning missing our friendly chats and amazing breakfast ( best shrimp and grits) Claudette truly listened to our dietary needs and prepared food around our request. The room was clean and spacious and the grounds are truly tranquil. Sitting out by the beaver pond with a cup of coffee in the morning is highly recommended. Claudette suggested we visit a few wineries and horse back riding along with a walk through the enchanted forest (so cool even for adults) we felt so warm and welcomed into Claudette’s home that we really didn’t want to leave. We left with hugs and I’ll see you soon as family does… Claudette really has something special with her little slice of heaven.

Great place to go and relax, its pretty much in the middle on nowhere so lots of piece and quiet. Close to Colonial Beach and Wes**oreland State Park. Provided breakfast was good.

Amazing stay with an amazing host in an amazing location in the middle of nowhere, on purpose. This place is wonderful. Maybe I ought to keep it as my secret hideaway? No, you can enjoy it too.
