Excellent stay I was there with my daughter who was running the Great North Run

The cleanliness is good, bed is comfortabe, facilities is ok.
The only thing is the noise from the outside, the buiding is near the main road, so it's a little noisy sometimes, the double glzing helps to reduce the noise.
The location is 10 minutes walk from the train station, The road from the train station to the hotel is uphill, and some places are quite steep, making it difficult to pull the suitcase.

It's quite a spacious sleeping arrangement with one double bed and one single bed in the room. The location is very convenient to reach all major attractions.

Bedside power socket/outlet broken, missing tv remote, broken bathroom extractor fan, no bedside phone to call reception or room service, no air conditioning despite all stages of the booking process stating that the room would have air conditioning, random maintenance work performed at 7am. All minor issues of course but all in 1 room? It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel

Hotel was great, and I enjoyed the services, however I had problems with getting a parking space, asides that every other thing was great .
