The hotel had the nice lodge feel to it and the room and and hotel was very clean. However, we had a major issue upon checking in. We were not given the room we reserved. We reserved a room overlooking the lake and we received a smaller room overlooking the parking lot. The management eventually made adjustments to address our dissatisfaction. Another concern was not having the outdoor firepit on during the cold winter months. It would have been nice to sit outside around the fire after spending time outdoors.

This is always our go to place to stay whej visiting Lake Placid. The views from this hotel are wonderful. The great room area is perfect for our multi room group to meet up for meals that we take out!
