"At check-in the clerk seemed a bit irritated or ready to go. I usually get great customer service when I stay here. I guess she was having a bad day. "
"Price is about the only thing going for this place other than it’s relatively safe. I understand that it’s a bare bones basic place, but they do not even offer you a simple plastic cup in the room for the purpose of brushing your teeth or a glass of water. That just seems ridiculously cheap. The floor was filthy and my feet turned black in five minutes. "
"Best hotel I've stayed in, with large rooms, separate bedroom, two TVs and a large desk, great staff. Breakfast is ample and very good. Easy access to restaurants( a walk across the street) and next to the highway."
"While the location is wonderful this hotel has fallen victim to the Covid standard. Basically they provide little to no service, no cleaning, no room service, can’t even get the room adequately stocked with coffee for a room price markup of 20-30%. Plus you have to pay $13/day for on site parking in which they park their shuttles so there’s even less parking lot parking. Initially I thought it was nice to find water and tea in the lobby but soon found the tea hadn’t been changed and was old and sour. Also the breakfast offered at the restaurant is outrageously expensive. "
"The staff was nice but hotel was not in good shape. We were coming to this city to see our daughter’s school function. Then the tropical storm hit, and the event was cancelled. I tried to cancel 48 hours in advance but they did not allow. I even asked if we could just get a rain check and use it when the event was ti be rescheduled 4 weeks later. They said no.
Like I said though, the staff was very nice."
"This hotel was absolutely beautiful. From the stay, to the staff, the brunch, everything was top tier. The location is great, near a lot of restaurants and chill spots with good vibes. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning. We've found a go to spot when staying in Norfolk."
"The Marriott Hotel is located in the city of Norfolk, with convenient transportation, very well-equipped kitchens, large beds, and luxurious rooms. The prices are relatively favorable from October to December, which is very cost-effective."

Great
GGuest UserI recently stayed at The Bay Inn and was thoroughly impressed. The room was quaint, exuding a cozy charm that made me feel right at home. The cute courtyard added a delightful touch to the experience—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The location was unbeatable, putting me within easy reach of everything I wanted to explore. Best of all, it offered terrific value, making it a top choice for anyone looking for quality without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserHad another great stay a the Hampton Inn, Norfolk.
Front desk representative Melissa was awesome! She made you feel welcomed and was very professional and helpful. We also had the pleasure of meeting Tim who was also very professional and polite. The room was right and clean. Walls were well insulated, you do not hear your neighbors or people walking/talking in the hallway. The breakfast was fantastic. There was a Waffle bar, bagels with toaster, Veggie and cheese omelets, hatd boiled eggs,, sausage, Oatmeal, muffins and assorted pastries and assorted juice dispencer. Would reccomend this location.
AAnonymous UserIt was such a beautiful place, the atmosphere was serene and cozy. It’s easy to locate on a map and love the services they rendered to me. The reception was second to none. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.
CCUIYINGThe hotel has no breakfast, no water for you to drink, no coffee machine, many old facilities, the hotel is located near the beach, the heating of the room is very noisy, and parking is convenient. three
