We stayed here for a week through Priceline, which categorized them as a 3 1/2 star hotel. It should be more of a 2. The hotel is under construction, no pool, construction working outside first thing every morning. We woke up to jack hammering and drilling every morning. No housecleaning for the first 4 days, until we mentioned it at the counter. Not a very clean hotel. The nightstands mysteriously opened all of the time. The hinge on our door was “Jerry rigged” so it could at any time fall off. It was constantly getting stuck or not closing correctly. Not the best stay at a Holiday Inn.

First, the staff are really nice and attempt to accommodate requests. The location is great. Close to the airport, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Standard hotel continental breakfast, coffee, etc., is available and parking is free. The hotel was renovated not long ago, but it appears maintaining those renovations is hit or miss. The common areas are great, but the suites need more attention (we had 2 during our stay). Paint, rust, dirt just make the place seem unkempt and a bit uncomfortable; especially if you’ve been to more modern IHG properties, the difference is noticeable and disappointing. Hopefully when the summer season slows down, management can get around to sprucing up the rooms and making that part of regular maintenance. The hotel has lots of potential, just needs follow-thru and staff that care.

This is one of the best hotels in the area. Why? Because of their staff! It's not often that you stay at a hotel for multiple years and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Staff truly take pride in their work. Hotel is conveniently located close to places within walking distance; looking for quick bite, large meal, snacks or just a few drinks.

TV's should have HDMI access so we can use our laptops to enhance the media experience. I needed to watch a movie on my laptop and i couldn't. Local TV was suck. So yeah, you guysshould update on smart tvs and HDMI access for the customers. Apart that, the team is great and I appreciate their support.

My company had 4 rooms booked here in June. The hotel overbooked on us and cancelled us without our knowledge until we arrived late at night to check-in. Since it was so late, we nearly were stranded and had to find a more expensive room an hour south of this location. To make matters worse then haven't refunded my work card, and gave my other guys trouble in refunding them. Avoid staying here.

The staff was super friendly and the room accommodations were great! The room was very clean, the beds were comfy, too! I would definitely stay here again. Very close to everything you could possibly want. I would highly recommend this place!

We stayed here for one night prior to our cruise. The lobby is very clean and modern. Our room was spacious and very clean. There is plenty of room to rest and relax. We had a suite with two TVs which was nice. The bathroom was clean and offered body wash and shampoo, etc. in the shower. We were able to check in an hour early which was nice after driving for 13 hours. Brittney at the front desk is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and places to eat, etc. The breakfast is your normal Holiday Inn selection, but it was fresh and warm. We would stay here again.

This was a one quick stop over while traveling. Seems like the rooms were updated to the latest HI Express decor although part of the carpet molding was falling off in one spot but overall the place was clean enough and can't complain.

Booked this hotel as a stop over on my way to OBX. We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 children so we were looking forward to the suite with the separate pullout bed. We checked in shortly after 7:30pm and they hotel had only 1 employee working the front desk. She was also responsible for providing the bedding if you were using the pullout couch. This process took some time since she had to check guests in and then leave to get bedding. Once she got the bedding she informed me that she could only give us 2 sheets as they ran out of comforters for the pullouts. I find this unacceptable but didn’t take it out on her because it’s not her fault. My children were cold and ended up sleeping in my bed while I was forced to sleep in the uncomfortable pullout with just 2 sheets. The pool was a nice temperature but there were wet towels laying all over the floor. It appears people used the pool all day and no staff cleaned up the wet towels just laying on the tile floor. You had to step over wet towels to get into he pool which was gross. On a bright note the complimentary breakfast was good. This Holiday Inn let me down
