Noosa Pacific Resort

We had a gardenside unit which we found cosy. Usually stay in Hastings Street or Gympie Terrace so this was a nice change of scenery, resort is peaceful and close enough to both to get to cafes etc. Staff were friendly, true locals so great recommendations. Swimming and laying around the pool with a book was my favorite part. We used the BBQ a little, too hot for a sauna but good to know it's there next to the pool too. Overall was a pleasant experience for a first time and hope to come back!!

After viewing the enticing resort photos on the Wotif and resort website we we booked a "garden view" accommodation at the resort for our annual family holiday. Upon arriving at the resort we met by a rude employee. We proceeded up the narrow steep stairs to the unit and were horrified to note a filthy apartment with dust and hair all over the beds overlooking a derelict old tennis court with absolutely no garden. The pool was a small rundown waterhole and not the enticing river front pool featured on the website. We immediately returned to the reception to advise we cannot stay in this apartment and was told there were no other available units so we demanded a refund. We were told the manager Ross would call however he did not do so until we called again requesting an urgent call. After calling back Ross stated that it was up to Wotif to refund us and we should speak with them. Despite being in contact with Wotif immediately who advised that they would refund have now advises that the resort has refused to refund us. We will now proceed to take both Wotif and the resort to Fair Trading and expose the misleading and deceptive conduct. Do NOT book with Wotif and most certainly do not book at this run down resort!

Unit 5, great location, well appointed apartment. Minuses, sticky floors, dirty dishes, lipstick on glasses, carpets not vacuum, draws in walkin robe broken, no bolts in door (saftey), soap scum in shower. As far as hire equipment goes, canoes, paddle boards and gym equipment are broken and looked like they have been for awhile. Tried to Inform management, but all the woman could say is this is a self serviced apartment. Also smelly towel in front of window in stairwell and railing broken in stairwell. Family members also had issues, even the penthouses span and sauna not operating. Unfortunately I won't be able to recommend this resort

In hospitality, excellent hosts provide unexpected "surprise and delight" features for their guests. Unfortunately, Noosa Pacific provides "surprise and disappoint" instead. Out the outset, let me confirm the actual apartment was excellent .. clean, well furnished and a good size. However, we were there for four nights, and were supplied one 30mm square tablet of soap and one tube of shampoo between two people. On the third day when we requested additional supplies the request was denied with the comment that additional provisions would only be issued for stays seven days and over. Most unsatisfactory, as was the supply of coffee, again exhausted by day two. We also did not appreciate being woken at 7.30am each morning by the groundsman using his blower vac. By contrast, we then went on to Hervey Bay staying at Villa Venetzia on The Esplanade for four nights. The apartment, although considerably cheaper, was larger and equally well equipped, but in contrast to Noosa Pacific, enough toiletries and beverages to last weeks. As is our May habit, we will return next year, and we know where we won't stay in Noosa and where we will stay in Hervey Bay.

Firstly, WOW. Noosa Pacific Resort has outdone themselves. We just (unfortunately) left the resort this morning, with a very heavy heart. After a lot of research for the perfect stay in Noosa, I couldn’t seem to get past the surreal photos and excellent reviews, and decided to take the chance. From the initial booking, to queries that I sent before the stay, to the remarkable effort to have our apartment ready ahead of check in - we were already feeling very spoilt having wonderful service before even stepping foot into the apartment. No amount of personal description could do the apartment and the views justice, you need to experience with yourself. We got goosebumps opening the front door. The huge glass doors that open up to the best outlook. The apartment was clean, modern, and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need, and the furniture was so comfortable. The pool area was exceptional. That view, the comfy poolside furniture, and the maintenance of the gardens were stunning. The little beach at low tide was a bonus for the kids, and the sun lounger along the timber boardwalk was our favourite sundowner spot each evening. Location is spot on, a very short walk to Gympie Tce, for picnics with views, boat hire, cafes, restaurants, playgrounds, and a lovely walk to Hastings Street for the beach. We’re already checking the calendar to see when we can get back. Thanks NP, this is everything we needed after a really rough couple of years! Was worth the wait for a holiday.

What a terrible place. Been going there for 14 years. My dad was in intensive care 3 weeks prior to our trip. We tried cancelling the 2 week accommodation we had due to his illness and couldn’t travel but was told we can not refund your $5,600 as it is too late notice. Desk staff are the rudest person I have ever dealt with. We gave management a letter from the doctor at the hospital stating my dad was very ill which the reply was sorry hope he gets better. Don’t know how these people sleep at night knowing they have taken so much money off my elderly parents.
