First of all, the food was terrible. The bread given for the hi-tea is stale and the juices are all syrup. Secondly, the service was bad. We had to change room because of a faulty circuit and it took them so long to give us the replacement room (4:20pm). What’s more, they did not agree to our request for a refill of the minibar on our second day, even though it would be the same price if we had booked the 2 nights separately and would have gotten two sets of minibar items. Such rigidity of the management. Special mention of a guy named Redho when we visited the executive lounge at Level 15. His face was so disgruntled as if we owed him money. How can he get selected to work in a supposedly top notch hotel in Batam when there are so many more eager unemployed people begging in the streets who would be very willing to learn, I don’t know.
The price paid for this stay is extremely not worth it. Terrible and we won’t stay here again for sure.
