Cuffern Manor

Perfect for a 3 night short break. As we arrived we were greeted by Julian with a warm welcome and having shown us our room and shared some of the history of the Manor he kindly offered to arrange a table for dinner at a nearby Inn. Breakfast was spot on and it was delightful to share a table with other guests. There’s a comfortable lounge and an impressive library. Our room was comfortable with fresh flowers (sweet peas) and plenty of tea and coffee with extra supplies available in the smaller first floor lounge area. Jayne too was welcoming and so very friendly you really felt as if you were staying with family or friends

We recently come back from a 4 night stay at Cuffern Manor, our room was large with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast every morning was excellent with plenty of choice. We had a very pleasant stay with Julian and Jayne being excellent hosts, who could not do enough for us. We would definitely recommend a stay there and we hope to go back later in the year

Nice garden and outlook from our room which was a decent size. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean bar mould in shower. No tea / coffee but could access in nearby lounge. Unfortunately though we found our stay very disappointing for the money spent. Julian and Jane are extremely controlling hosts and we felt watched during our stay. The breakfast was meagre (one item each including one piece of toast) you could ask for more but felt like you were personally paining the host to do so. We were shocked and appalled when one morning we were given leftover toast from an adjacent table of guests! This is a hygiene issue. There are various notes around the place telling you what you could and couldn’t do. This felt childish and unprofessional. We found Julian to be nosey and that we were there as entertainment rather than be allowed to relax and enjoy the premises. They say to let them know of any issues which we did (e.g given toast from another guest) we were met with no apology which we found unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend a stay.

Lovely warm welcome from Julian and Jayne. Spacious room with access to a lounge. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Enjoyed walking around the walled gardens and orchard. We will definitely be coming back later in the year. Jon and Clair

Julian and Jayne were very warm and welcoming. Made our stay very pleasant. Julian was very informative about the history of the manor. Nice large room and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast . Very nice views and grounds . We will definitely return. We didn't want to leave

We enjoyed a two night stay for the purpose of visiting the puffins on Skomer - we loved the rural location and the hospitality of Julian and Jayne was second to none - the breakfasts were amazing - thank you Jayne! Our room was clean and thoughtfully equipped and the beds lovely and cosy and comfortable.
