This is a beautiful hotel in lovely grounds near to all the local attractions, especially Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta. Also Pisa and Lucca. The Hotel is understated elegance and the owners attention perfect, not too involved and involved enough. All team attentive and excellent. Really relaxing and an oasis of calm within a small village with at walking distance local restaurants. For those that like the razzmatazz of a large centre this is semi rural and calm, something we loved. Will definitely return.

UNRELIABLE ! Booked this hotel in December 2021 but received an email at the end of May 2022 informing us that our stay was canceled because someone with a big bag of money had rented the hotel. Instead of arranging replacement accommodation in the same period, we were asked to move our stay to dates that suited the hotel better at a meager discount! You can still look for a suitable accommodation in the area two months before your stay, in the busiest month of the year! I thought that this kind of practice only exists in Naples and Sicily, but also at this relay. The owner is also not responding to my emails. Untrustworthy and unreliable!!

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel is very well maintained and authentically Italian. The building, the gardens and the surroundings are a pleasure garden in the middle of nature. 2 Restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast is plentiful by Italian standards. Limited but excellent lunch options. Bar enough. No dinner option. Furthermore, a lot of personal attention. Excellent walking and cycling opportunities. Swimming pool clean and beautiful. Absolutely recommended.

Charming location in a quiet setting. We stayed in an annex room. New, large, comfortable room. Well-kept park and very nice swimming pool with comfortable loungers. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had chosen this hotel as a base for visits to Versilia, but we had such a good time that we spent all the days here in complete relaxation. For a truly top offer I would focus on a breakfast with sweet and savory local products prepared by hand, rather than packaged. Still very good.

Quite far from the hustle and bustle and not easy to find. Access to the hotel is almost only possible with a small car. Old historic villa in a park-like setting with old trees and a pool. Interior rooms with a risk of tripping, old steep stairs. Rooms with little storage space. New bathroom with toilet, 1 washbasin and shower, no storage space. Very good beds. Extensive, generous breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean pool with loungers. You cannot eat in the hotel. Very good restaurant nearby. 20 minutes by car to the sea.

We stayed 3 nights in this lodge run by owners who took great care of their guests. The building is magnificent, the swimming pool is large and well maintained, only small negative point? Breakfast is a little light... You have to wake up early to have something to fill your stomach!

The villa, which dates back to the 18th century, is a little difficult to find. Your car should not be larger than a BMW 3 series. In addition to German, English and French, we also had Italian language skills on offer. We were not even informed about the forest fire that was within 3 km of the hotel. Apart from that, one had the impression that they had to cut costs. There was very little fruit for breakfast and it was only cut up so that you couldn't take anything with you. The air conditioning in the room was often turned off while we were away. Shower gel and shampoo were hesitantly replaced in the bathroom when asked. There was no air conditioning in the public rooms, even though it was 40 degrees in the shade. You shouldn't have any special requests. Everything has to be done strictly according to the rules. At times we wondered whether we were in Swabia instead of Italy....
