雖然距離小鎮中心有點遠，但酒店設施十分完善，特別是頂樓的露天風呂，非常有特色，與同等價位的酒店比，非常值得推薦。

來登別超級有性價比的老牌酒店。房費包含一晚住宿和一早一晚兩餐，食物種類豐富且味道很不錯，牛奶、布丁、魚刺身都是一絕！榻榻米的房間其實也挺大的，白天可以沏茶休息，晚上工作人員鋪好床就可以休息啦~
作為温泉酒店，石水亭有兩大温泉分別坐落在兩棟樓的樓頂，泡起來實在是舒服得很。其中一個露天池可以一邊欣賞雪景一邊泡在水中。
酒店位置在登別温泉鎮的偏深處，因此最推薦的方式還是在他們家官網提前幾周預訂接駁巴士，從札幌市區到酒店的線路免費，從機場到酒店的線路要付一點錢。在官網用英文填表申請就好了，提示要趁早訂不然很有可能滿員。
酒店一層也有特色商店，晚上會舉辦一個bingo活動。總結來看，這是一家歷史悠久，服務貼切，食物和温泉都較佳的酒店，相信這裏的住宿配得上度假二字。

酒店地理位置很好，雖然位於温泉鎮最深處，但登別站有巴士可以直達酒店門口；酒店房間是和式的，也配有浴衣，可以較深入體驗當地習俗；温泉是公共的，男女分開，頂層有露天湯池，雖然不是很大，不過也可以泡的很盡興；最值得稱道的是酒店提供的早晚餐，自助形式，選擇很多，直接吃撐了，總之十分推薦這家酒店！
