南館の半露天風呂付きのお部屋に泊まりました。以前からチェックしていた宿ではあったのですが、なかなか西和賀町まで行く機会がなく、今回やっと伺えました。 お部屋のお風呂が期待以上！もう最高でした。陶器の湯船はもう少し小さいかと思っていたら十分足を伸ばせる広さで、子供と2人で入っても大丈夫でした。部屋で薄着で過ごし、身体の熱さがなくなるとまたチャポンと入り…を何度も繰り返しました。お湯はなめらか、すべすべです。湯温はそのままだと熱すぎたので、お水を足したりしましたが、入るたびに薄まるなぁ…と思い、まだまだ冷えるこの時期、窓をガバッと開けて外の冷えた空気で冷やしておくとちょうど良い湯温になることに翌朝やっと気付きました。 宿のスタッフさん達にも、お出迎えからお見送りまで丁寧に接客していただき心地よいおもてなしでした。たくさんの部屋に温泉があると掃除も大変でしょうに、清掃がよく行き届いており、気持ち良く過ごせました。 また泊まりたい、人におすすめできるとても良い温泉宿でした。

お出迎、お部屋、夕食、朝食、温泉全てにおいて期待を上回る宿でした。施設は古さを否めませんが、従業員の方々の応対の素晴らしさ、お料理センスの良さ、お肌スベスベな温泉等など至福の時間を過ごす事が出来ました。
