月山の姥沢登山口より下山後一泊しました。 少し印象的だったのがロビーの本棚。蔵書にバリエーションがあり時間があれば手に取りたいと思いました。 小ホテルといった感覚で、旅館ともやや違うと思いますが、ゆっくり時間を過ごせる雰囲気でした。 日本有数の豪雪地とのこと、温泉は2階にあたり、天井に太めの梁、敷石も滑りにくく居心地はよかったです。 志津温泉は、その昔、参詣道である六十里越街道の番所が設けられていた土地柄のようです。 「語るなかれ」とされる湯殿山神社に興味を覚える方にもよいかもしれません。

お出迎えなし。荷物は自分で部屋まで運ぶ。 そういう方式なのか？それともコロナだからか？ ホテルでもお出迎えと荷物運びはしてくれるのに。 食事は可もなく不可もなく。 食材が被るのはちょっと残念。 露天風呂は狭いですね。先客がいたら諦めて時間をずらした方がいいです。 夜遅くになると、玄関扉が万力みたいな物で固定されます。 外せば出られますが、前もって伝えておくべき。 ６時間かけて行った甲斐はありませんでした。
