One of the best family stay in shrinagar... Apne ghar jaisa ghar... Cheap.. excellent..clean.. Full to 'in budget' स्वादिष्ट घर जैसा खाना.... Owner mr Rana is very nice and kind person.. so also staff... Nishat Shalimar mughal garden is just 5 min away.. Very nice place to stay for a family.. Must visit..

The hotel is very nice and people there is very kind and welcoming. I did love the breakfast and the small garden with amazing views of the mountain. The room was clean and comfortable, and it is walking distance from Swami Lakshmanjoo's ashram.

In the budget range, this hotel exceeds the expectations especially on the hospitality and room amenities part. It has a homely environment coupled with personalized attention of Mr. Rana. Cleanliness in the room (where I stayed) and overall (in the property) was quite reasonable. Amenities in the room and the quality of interiors were good. Rooms with lake view and mountain view are available. Location of the hotel is near Nishat Garden. Overall, in its price range, it is a good hotel. Food price is slightly on the higher side though.

"Our family enjoyed a grand holiday in Hotel Silver Oak Srinagar in the month of May 2022 as Mr Sunil Rana Ji and Mr Shashi Ji were always polite and cordial ready to help and co-operate in all fields which made us feel homely. They use to serve us hot delicious mouth watering food which we said them to prepare. Overall an amazing experience for our entire Family.

Good ambience in rooms with warm lights . Food was excellent. Price is Slightly on the higher end, but quality , fresh and tasty food is available here. Stay for one night was pleasant . the manager Sunil Rana was friendly and hospitality was good.

Not a hotel as such one would expect. It is more of a guest house. Residential building converted to hotel rooms.. Nearby nishad garden but way inside a small street.. Exorbitantly priced, as like many other places in J&K.. Two building stand next to each other and have approx. 16 small rooms. The floors are absolutely dirty with patches and the staff will give all excuses for the same.. Dark rooms with yellow bulbs. Staying on ground floors feels like living in a concentration camp - No natural lights, no air, literally suffocating at times. Very poorly maintained. Wash basin was choked. Chairs tables were broken. In lieu of ceiling fan, they provided table fan, which never worked.. Overall, avoid if u want to relax at the end of the tiring day, after long day travel journeys, while being in Srinagar.. They have a hand written menu, thats the best part of the so called/rated 3/4 star property..
