The onsen and hotel was in a great location if you like to backcountry ski. The room was spacious and decently clean with pretty comfortable beds, though a bit hard. It is kind of far from any services so make sure to pack some extra snacks and beers. The chef was out on vacation while we stayed so we had to get dinner in town each night which was a lot of driving in pretty gnarly weather. Overall, our stay was great though! Would definitely stay again. Would make sure to include the dinner and breakfast in our next stay.

Certainly! Here’s a refined version of your comment: Review: The hotel is located too far up on a hill, which can be inconvenient, especially in heavy snow. When we arrived, it was snowing heavily, making it difficult to see the road. The facilities are decent, but the most notable feature is the hot nature spring, which is quite enjoyable. However, cleanliness could be improved, and the amenities are very basic. For those who enjoy hot springs, it might be worth a visit, but otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for accommodation.

Goshiki is a skiers dream come true!!! Ideally located outside of niseko’s high traffic and a step off the stairs away from skinning up a the mountain from Giving it moderate ratings is only because it’s an older structure with minimal maintenance,…. Rooms were very nice and clean and the waters are rich in minerals. Staying here allows for exclusive 24hr onsen access. Pools get busy after 3-7pm when skiers are finishing up their day,… Go enjoy its traditional rustic building while they’re standing. Seems like within 5-10 years it will be developed and owned by a foreign tycoon! Bring your own food,,.. vending machines have beer only,…

The place is pretty run down and dirty.  The indoor Onsen was covered in black mold and several in our group became violently ill.  Do your self a favor, stay elsewhere and drive up to ski.

Wonderful stay! It was comfortable, great for the price. We were the only ones in the accommodation on the first day, we had the onsen to ourselves.

This hot spring hotel is nestled in the picturesque mountains, perfect for those traveling by car. With its traditional Japanese-style architecture. The hot springs offered here are excellent quality. However, please be aware that the hotel is located a bit far from convenience store. To make your stay more convenient, it is advisable to come prepared with any necessary items or food beforehand.

The hotel is in a very remote location, more than 20 kilometers away from the bus center, and there is no public transportation to reach it. It costs more than 10,000 yen, close to 521 yuan, to take a taxi in the evening. It was the most expensive taxi ride in my life. I thought I could ski directly nearby, but I was told that it was all wild snow. The next morning I had to take a taxi to the ski resort again. This time it cost 6,500 yuan according to the meter. In addition, I had to pay a hot spring tax and bathing fee of 900 yuan per person for check-in, about 45 yuan. I had to walk 200 meters with my suitcase to the annex building. There was no food, drink or Wi-Fi around. The total cost was nearly 1,400 RMB a night, which was enough to stay in a star hotel. There was just a small open-air pool. Anyway, it was a rip-off and can only be said to be suitable for self-driving. Before coming, I asked someone to call the boss several times to confirm the transportation method, but no one answered, otherwise I would have cancelled it long ago. Next time I will never book a hotel in this kind of mountain valley!
