Hôtel de La Marmotte

𝗝𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗘𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗟 Very 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗨 for the price/quality ratio (58€ for a single room for 1 night) on October 26, 2024. I booked this hotel at the last minute because it was close to the train station, I had a big suitcase and I was leaving the next day. The old staircase is covered with old carpet, the paint on the walls is peeling in some places and even more so on the 2nd floor in the hallway. When I entered room 7, there was a strong musty smell. She also told me that it was also rented the next day. There is an old telephone but no socket to plug it in. The TV turns on but does not work, it says "WELCOME" and that's it. No power outlet next to the 2 beds (it is at the entrance to the room, more than 2m away). In the shower cubicle, all the joints are dirty. The cast iron radiator, the paint is dated and there are places where it is no longer there. The box spring of the double bed is falling to the floor. There is 1 small wardrobe, but no hangers. When you are in bed to turn off the light on the wall above the bed, you have to get up because the button is more than a meter above the bed. There is a hole in the duvet cover. And on the desk, you can see that the colored plastic is dated. It is glued on top but above all there are pieces of plastic missing. As for the dining room, I did not see it because on Sunday mornings there is no breakfast. I had to go to the station. Frankly, when you see all this, I find that the hotel price of €58 for 1 person is too expensive.
