The room is spacious with a very convenient kitchen corner. It is clean. No air conditioning. Well placed very close to the center. The main bemol: the parking is not attentive. We have had a special price at the municipal parking, but it is not convenient with the baggage.

Wonderful sleep, whilst this is a budget hotel it has all the amenities that serve to deliver a good nights sleep which is ultimately what you want on a one night stay .. By that I mean , good soundproofing on windows , excellent temperature control, very comfortable bed and superb pillow , spotlessly clean , crisp linen .. tea/ coffee facilities, good WiFi and nice efficient welcome . Simply put it all worked .

The hotel is in renovation, the floors are finished, it is completely refurbished. The reception is excellent, the dinner offered in bowls is excellent and well served. Breakfast is also well served. I have to report the friendlyness of the managers , this hotel is to recommend

Halfway on our regular journey from north to south of France, this has become our go-to for one reason - the beds. It's a budget hotel which punches way above its weight in a number of ways but first and last, the beds are super-comfortable, with excellent linen and fluffy duvets, and on a long journey that's what you want. The breakfast is good, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff super-kind and helpful. I accidentally left behind my gold watch(?!?!) - it was waiting for me on our return north a few days later. Can' thank the staff enough for that! The hotel is handy for the centre of Niort which has an abundance of restaurants, all good, and the town itself is charming. We'll be staying at the Ibis Niort Marais Poitevin again in the spring - where else would we go! Big thanks to all the staff.
