Even though the hotel location a bit remote. It run by a young couple (To & Phuong) family business, both are very helpful & generous people.
The hotel has a very great hilly view of Trang A from our balcony.
We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book again if we come back to Ninh Binh

A luxury hotel in a quiet area. Everything is new, room was spacious, bed linen was new, towels were fluffy The room cleaning was beyond praise. There was an outdoor swimming pool and a cozy garden with swings and elegant wrought-iron garden furniture. Breakfast, Vietnamese cuisine menu to choose from: delicious soups, tea, coffee. Many thanks to the staff for organizing excursions, calling a taxi and also for solving my small problem. Special thanks to Manager Loan for a wonderful evening in the city, hospitality and warmth

This room is really good, the environment, swimming pool and breakfast are all good. It is a little far from the city center, but the environment is very good and quiet. There are insects and birds singing in the morning.

I chose Chau Son Resort because of its 4 stars on Trip and 5 stars on Booking. Bizarre, because it should be 2 stars. There is a small swimming pool and nothing else. The location is far away from everything, but we knew that. Lots of garbage and rats around the complex. We had a new pet the last night: a big cockroach in the room. The breakfast is not great: some soup, cold fries every day, 1 piece of fruit and white bread that should not be called bread. At my request I did get yoghurt. The mattress is on a wooden base in the sober room, which keeps creaking. There is a large party room that, like us with Tet, causes a lot of noise pollution. After 23:00 and before 6:00 it is not quiet. The management does nothing about it. We had to pay the Trip booking at the hotel and the bill was simply increased by 3% even though I paid with my bank card. The number of stars is correct from my side and I blame Trip for that. Really bad experience for almost €50 per night. For that money you can do much better in Vietnam.
