the hotel exceeded my expectations. butler Owen was super meticulous the moment we reached the hotel. he ensured the kids are comfortable and well fed and even gave my family member a mini celebration on his birthday. thank u butler owen for your extra effort. the hotel experience was made better by u.
room was nice and view was gorgeous. can even save the sight tickets because the view from the hotel is way better without crowd. the back garden was super fun for the kids w the cat house and small corner for activity. bon fire was made alive by the host and guests who participated. only thing to improve in my view is the breakfast. we had the western choice and it was limited in options for those not taking beef and toast was abit odd and cold. i think the hotel tried to be fanciful w the food platter but wish we have a simpler and more rustic local breakfast spread.
but overall 9/10 and owen scores the last 1 pt to make it 10/10

This boutique hotel has a fabulous setting overlooking Lake Lugu. The staff was excellent and seemed to enjoy their jobs. They were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Kris, in particular, delivered outstanding service. The owner of the hotel, Mr. Wang, was warm, outgoing and well-versed in the culture of the local Chinese minorities. He demonstrated painting using wood blocks and engaged in a discussion with hotel guests in the evening around a fire pit. Just a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend.

This is one of the perfect hotel i have ever stayed throughout, from design, services, amenities, activities, all these made us feel home. Kudos to our assigned butler, Mr Owen, has taken care us well from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We even have our room free upgrade to have a best view and also given us extra local breakfast to let us try. He took very good photos too ! My wife likes it very much.
Not forgetting mention all the staffs within the hotel, also very polite and greet us everytime. Definitely will come back next time around.

Beautifully furnished rooms and hotel common area/restaurant. The room views were stunning. Restaurant dinner was superb and amongst the best meals we had in Yunnan. Attentive service from the hotel crew and our butler 央央

We only stayed for one night, but the experience was unforgettable. Kris, our helper, was amazing—he showed us around the entire premises and gave a full introduction to the food menu. What a guy Kris, thank you!

Views from the room was excellent, room was equipped with AI function. Provides a humidifier for the room as well which is great. Location of the hotel was atop a very steep hill which made climbing up and down a little inconvenient- they do offer a driver service but it is not available all the time- limited to certain hours and when there is another guest using the car then will need to wait. Service was not consistent- some staff were not very friendly but some staff provided amazing service: Staff 小周非常友善热情，旁晚临时问他想去湖边走走 他就马上安排了亲自载我去 让我在泸沽湖的最后一个傍晚能够在夕阳下体验湖边漫步，过后还及时来接我回去， 让我感觉非常感谢。 4月6号值晚班的柜台小姐也特别热情友善，很喜欢她 可是不知道她的名字。

Located at a unique altitude halfway up the mountain by the Lugu Lake, this homestay faces the Lugu Lake and offers an excellent view of the beautiful mountains and waters. It has a completely different atmosphere at different times and in different weather conditions, and is very suitable for gazing at the lake, dazed, and lying down to heal. The overall style of the hotel is Mediterranean style. The piano in the center of the hotel lobby and the lake view are very poetic. You can also feel with your own eyes the aesthetic taste and care that the manager puts into every detail of the hotel's landscape. In addition to the unbeatable view of the lake, the room also has thoughtful and considerate living products and facilities. The butler Owen was very attentive and patient from the moment we checked in to the moment we left, meeting all the needs of the guests. Compared with other scenic spots, Lugu Lake is still in the middle stage of development and the commercial atmosphere is not that strong. It is really suitable for relaxing and escaping from the world.
