Popular Ningbo 4-star Hotels

The environment is beautiful, the facilities are complete, and it is suitable for multiple people to live in. The service is also in place and responsive. It's just that the breakfast was late and there was nothing to eat. This is a very happy stay and I will come again next time.

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas. 1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes. 2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale 3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days . 4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced . 5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby. 6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use . 7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes . 8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees. 9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion! 10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking . For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those . The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

The resort and room are beautiful. We went for 1 night just to use the pool. The pool was lovely and huge. I was shocked how cold the air conditioner in the room was because it was so hot outside. This made me so happy. We rented a golf cart to ride around for 80 rmb for 30 minutes. That was fun. The room was great and bathroom was the biggest I have ever seen. It was a nice weekend but honestly I wouldn’t return. You can only spend so much time in the pool and there is nothing else to do around the hotel. If you like sitting in nature and reading a book or meditating you will love the place.

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Since last visit in Ningbo we used that hotel to stay overnight for our business trips. Our old hotel „Golden Port“ is now already closed for renovations maybe. We will see. The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

Hotel is too good.near to railway station. Near good mslls.madket and restaurants. Staff is good. Breakfast 8s good. All looks good. We prefer this Hotel. Easy approching

Good-looking and delicious. I recently came to Ningbo to visit Bali and was very happy. The service attitude was very good and polite. The self-service laundry can even help with laundry and drying. When I came back from the house, the clothes were hung up and smelled good. So considerate... The room was big and clean. I was very happy to stay here during the New Year. The facilities were convenient. I ate a lot of delicious food around. We, carnivores, challenged a lot of delicious food. The environment was good. The service of the front desk sister was good. It was also convenient to drive out. Free license plates were provided for multiple trips. Facilities: Complete Sanitation: Clean Environment: Good Service: Thumbs up👍👍

A very pleasantly surprised hotel with a great environment and complete facilities. The rooms are also large, with smart controls and are very clean. The overall number of rooms is not too large, so it doesn't feel crowded even when full, and it's very quiet overall. There aren't many restaurants within walking distance, but there are Chinese and Western restaurants in the hotel, the prices are reasonable, and the food is good.

The Portman hotel was located conveniently near the subway and shops. (Each morning tried a different coffee shop and never ate at the same place). As a conner room, gave more windows for natural light. With good sound proofing, bearly heard any street or neighbour noise. Having an in room washing machines was a nice bonus. We when touring everyday. So, we didn't use any of the hotel's facilities, (pool, spa, restaurant, etc). Room was always spotless when we returned.

The hotel was very nice and close to a subway station. The room looked very nice and the bed was comfortable. I liked how the vanity mirror has a light. I didn’t like how although I had the “do not disturb” sign on my door, someone still came in to clean my room but also threw away a bag I wanted to keep. I was highly displeased about that. Other than that the stay was nice. I also liked how the check out time is at 4pm instead of noon.
